In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is on another shopping safari! He's shopping for dark washed jeans at different price points including designer.
The Review
1. American Eagle ($59 each but buy-one-get-one 1/2 off) - he purchases both non-distress extreme flex wash which is is super comfortable & AWESOME as well as the the distressed pair. Great deal!
2. 7 For All Mankind ($248) - they were crazy super long and super stretchy. He really disliked them, and $248 is too expensive.
3. Diesel ($225) - Thommer distressed style fit great. These are the most expensive pair of jeans he ever purchased (which is a downside), but the pair reminds him of his favorite Jack Threads slim fit jeans.
4. J Brand ($178) - Hood non-distressed dark wash are the MOST comfortable & soft jeans he's ever put on. They are slim through the legs, the front is flat, and fly lays nice & clean.
5. GAP ($69 regularly but on sale for $39) - slim fit stretch denim is incredibly comfortable but does not have as much stretch as American Eagle. The price is the best part. He picks these jeans as the best because they're age appropriate, they have the best selection of washes, and they're not real trendy.
6. Levis ($74) - two way stretch advanced technology are solid & quality jeans, but he's not in love with these as much as the other jeans. - Хобби
I love how Aaron talks in front of the camera and doesn't give a dang about being watched weirdly, solid confidence there 👍🏻😄
Namiber - Any Time is TimeLapse Time!
Ikr, i would use some subtitle scrolling while i stare awkwardly into the camera
You sorta grow out of it after you've been on camera a while i know I have 😂
His solid confidence comes from using Tiege Hanley.

I love that you stop and talk to everyone with happiness and enthusiasm.
I wonder what people are thinking while hes talking to himself in the dressing room lol. But he doesn't seem to care though, confident af.

Aaron is such good dude. He's so nice to fans he sees in public & he's donating many of his clothes instead of returning them.
+Hendrico Steinhobel He would've just returned the stuff he just bought & kept all his old jeans, instead he's donating all his old stuff & keeping the new.
He's not like most people that will be nice to people to their face, and then roll his eyes and start talking shit about them behind their back like most vloggers do, which is awesome
The jeans were great and all but the best part was the end about donating our clothes we aren't wearing, don't want, have out grown, etc shows your heart Alpha. It's so cool to see you encouraging helping others!

Very true
Disgusting sad thing is all the comments talking about jokes got the most likes and then this comment is very underrated and everybody needs to see this comment but it gets 73 likes, WHAT?
I think I wore size 29 when I was 12
Nothing beats Levi's been wearing them my entire life. I'm 65.
Affordable and high quality!
Levi's have been my fave for over 50 years starting with Orange Tab Super Slims ($6.50 a pair), to 501's to the stretch jobs I have now. I've tried others but Levi's are my personal best. My only gripe is that none of them are made in the US any more.
Tacky back tag 🤮
@@elliothm8370 tacky? In what world?
Yeah, good quality. Unfortunately, the people who make them must drink on the job because I've bought a couple pairs of jeans that were the exact same size and style and they fit completely different.

@@gaspardnsengimana7974 can’t go wrong with g star
Got my first pair of g star when I was 16 and they haven’t skipped a beat, unfortunately they shut shop in Australia…
Seven's were great!!! Past tense! I don't know wtf they did, but so disappointed! I refuse to waste anymore $$! Really too bad, because the old Sevens are the best jeans ever made in the history of jeans! By a long shot! Now I just buy used Levi's & Lucky's from thrift stores. All new jeans are terrible! Cheap garbage, made with the lowest quality materials & they play hopscotch with 3rd world factories! You'll never get the same fit! 1 is made in Ecuador & another is made in Vietnam! You never know what to expect!
What about Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger jeans are they gd?
I love how excited you are about finding an article of clothing that you love. It totally cracks me up. Love it. Probably going jean shopping in the next few weeks so thanks for the info.

I really appreciated this denim safari reason being is that most of us today wear denim, and can relate to finding and buying a great pair. I also appreciate the fact that you went into stores that are in most if not all the shopping malls that the average person shops in, and not some fancy hard to find store. Thanks!
In Europe, Diesel is the boss.
Can’t compare it with no other brand.
Always available in a great selection of lines like Sleenker, Buster, Thavar, Thommer, Theppar and so on.
What Diesel does differently is how they construct each of these lines and the fit they provide.
They do not fit the same and sizes are always available either long and short to suit your height so you don’t have to roll up the hems like you do with most of these other brands.
Quality wise, they last for like forever.
The Sleenker is definitely my favourite line of house.
Can’t go wrong with the Sleenker.
Absolutely unique.
Alpha: *Chokes on $400 jeans*
Me: *Dies on $20 jeans*
How do you die on $20 I'll spend $50 a pair
Wtf? 20$? It's expensive I spend 10/12$ a pair
Dude $5 jeans tops wth
I spend tops $2 on jeans. $20 wtf you rich or what?
My jeans are 10$/15$
Damn he spent my whole check
Raul Fuentes he is buying them to review them for us anyways....he is an entrepreneur and a business man..so he makes his own money
Raul Fuentes He's gonna make a good chunk of it back with this video and the ones to come after. gotta spend money to make money
Raul Fuentes he could have given them back afterwards but he ripped the tag off so..
a pair of jeans will last lotz of months/years to come, so average cost to useful life, not that big of investment in my opinion.
Aymen S not if you constantly buy new pair's
The classic jeans brands that have been recognized for decades worldwide are Levi's, Lee and Wrangler. The others are fashionable, even though they have good quality, as was Fiorucci, Pierre Cardin, Forum, Zoomp, Soft Machine, M. Officer, etc.
So so true. When you find the right pair of jeans to fit you no matter what your body looks like is totally magic and you’re willing to pay the cost. Well said Man.
Next vid should be Leather Jackets!
Marcos Sabino or denim jackets!

Favorite pair right now, AE slim straight jeans. Love the color and fit
I accidentally got some Tiege Hanley in my eye. Now I have X-ray vision.
Lol
Fav jeans brand : Tiege Hanley
Shop the best brand of socks. I can never find a good brand that isn't y'know $12 for one pair of Nike socks or the big bags of socks you get at Walmart and last one wear. Hopefully you see this.
Aaron Rose Nike socks are 6 pairs for $20
Kodak Probably I was just trying to exaggerate.
Kodak I would go with the three packs though. The six packs are made with really bad materials. The three packs are made with dry fit that last much longer. I think they're like 3-5 bucks more for 2 3 packs than a 6 pack but last much longer!!
Aaron Rose yes, but these last for at least a year or more.
Tommy Hilfiger 👌
I am fit and stay in shape. I wear Walmart $20 slim jeans and a $5 T shirt and I rock it! Fuck brands!
JJJennings007 thanks to show people that clothes don’t have to be a fortune to impress and look good! Love the confidence man!
@@eduardogonzalez7740 Thanks Brother.

Awesome brother. I love your comment. I cannot afford jeans as such. But, your comment made me feel positive. Solid confidence 💪🙌👌
Man, you're braver than me, I would never go barefoot in a dressing room, I'd be worried about pins and athlete's foot!
I went into Kohl's dressing room barefoot, huge mistake. Damn pins everywhere!
You probably have it already
Plus syphylis and hiv
The thing I've noticed about Levi that I really don't like is the fit is inconsistent. I have a 34'' waist and yet I can wear two different pairs of 34'' Levi's and they won't fit the same.
I notice that with a lot of brands. Usually it seems like the wash/color seems to be the culprit. Dark wash always seems smaller/tighter than the lighter wash.
@@freezingCode Ah well in that case I guess I don't mind. Really like Levi because of the affordable price and comfort, so I don't really see a need to experiment with different brands.
Look at where they are made. I noticed that Levi's make the same style of jeans in multiple different countries and they all fit different.
its the different styles, a straight fit 34 will be wider than a slim, a slim will be wider than skinny etc
Yea i order a 30" 510 and they were really tight in the waist. After wearing them for half and hour i had hip pains for a while. My true size is 30. Kinda weird
I would love to see hoodies but it's hot out maybe when it's cold
American giant is the best hoodie
AuZe Dragoh any hoodie is a good hoodie. Tight or loose, depending on the look you're going for
I love my Levi's. 502 regular tapered is what I last bought. The only downside of Levi's is inconsistency in sizing and fitment, they take a lot of trying on. But when they fit, they never disappoint.
I'm gonna throw some rust coloured Timbs under there, cuff em up and keep rocking.
You only need to try any style of Levi's jeans once to find out your comfortable size, after that you can buy them online without fitment mistake. I bought many Levi's jeans 505 510 511 512 513 514 but mostly 511 in different classes (entry, premium, made & craft) without any problem of fitment. I also have the same experience with Nudie jeans. But Diesel jeans are the challenge for me to find out the comfortable size because they do not have the same sizing and fitment for all styles. With Diesel you should go to the store to try every jeans you want to buy.
I learned to tailor my clothes, its easy when none of my clothes fit and any change is an improvement. I now goto Walmart and pick up 7 dollar jeans off the clearance rack. spend 2 hours fixing them to fit and feeling really good after the fact.
Same
I’ve always worn Levis, just recently discovered AE jeans...my life has changed! The flex, the feel, the price, the options; all are wonderful! Only two denim brands i wear! 36x34 Slims and Skinnys
Alpha, please also include a comparison in this series of how they look/feel before and after you wash them
Hamza Riaz and come
Back to all these jeans after wearing them for a year or more so we can see what was the better experience and quality
yes, then come back after 2 years. then 3. etc.
I love Levis Denizen jeans. Great colors and styles and the fit is absolutely amazing! Stretchy and amazingly comfortable!
Denizen is honestly just as good as OG Levi's. And they're only like $20-25 at Target
OMG I LOVE J BRAND SO GLAD YOU LOVE THEM TOO

Yes good idea!!
Moncler polos are nice
For me , there is no other than 501s I remember my first pair when I was like 12years old back in 1959. They were like 3 dollars. The only time I wore another brand was in the 70s during the designer jeans craze. Levis have been around more than a hundred years and they”ll be around for a hundred more.
Live In Levis 501 For Ever...
They feel comfy
GAP, Levi’s, Scotch & Soda for me!
My husband loves Levi 505 and 501, it's very comfortable and never goes out of style! The more he wears it, the more it becomes beautiful.
the levis u picked costs about $35 here
Definately a good pick imo
samanvaya sharma the stretch ones feel like sweats, but don't last long. If you want that classic integrity, go for minimal stretch
samanvaya sharma I need to come where you at if those Levis are only $35
DIESELs have really great pair of jeans. They really pass the test of time and are super comfortable. A couple of mine have lasted for more than 7 years and my dad's are like a decade old.
Salute to you sir for the superb tips. Please continue to inspire other people and even content creators like us! Thanks!

I love Levi's denims because they are best in fit, colour retention, best recovery which is important for stretch denim,better........... Durable ,I just love Levi's REDloop collection
ah i want them, but ffs i can never get them in my size, i need 36 lenght and 33 waist and i have only seen like 2 pairs pop up of them and not the ones i wanted
I just spent the weekend updating my jeans look too and have the same problem trying to find something under a 30 length. Finally had the nerve to buy something that wasn’t loose/baggy or even straight legs. The day after buying a couple of them with the slim fit a little long I found the perfect Levi’s with the exact length at a Ross for $19. I added those to my collection too. Now to get used to the slim fit!
Love these videos , keep them coming Aaron
The diesels look best on you. Great distressed look. Followed by the Levi
The Levis 512 is the best pair of jeans I have ever bought. Not super stretchy but you are confident enough to know that it can take a beating for a very long time.
I recommend Banana Republic “Luxe Travel” jeans. $120 - $130. Not too tight, not too loose, stretch fabric, very comfortable. They also have slim, and skinny if you’re into those fits.
Every outfits Aaron wears...he freaking looks amazing in them.
I'm really liking this series!
the real question is, which black denim jeans brand do you recomend because black after wash it fades so whats your opinion on that @alpha m.
I was watching this and couldn’t help but comment, and I usually don’t. For anyone who is actually watching this for the jeans. Abercrombie make some of the best jeans, hands down. They put a lot of the mainstream designers to shame. The quality of fabric is some on the best by far. Probably better than every place he went to except for maybe one, but probably better than that place as well. This isn’t a negative post because I really like Arron. I happen to know this because when I was younger I used to work at AnF’s corporate office and we compared their jeans to all of the other stores. Wait for a great sale or find an Abercrombie outlet if you need jeans. I promise you will not be disappointed. Keep up the great videos Alpha!!

It's funny because whenever you started this video and you were talking about finding pants at a specific size and everything, I'm also a smaller guy and I have found that American Eagle pants have a good amount of elasticity to them and they fit me very well also. So whenever you first started talking about that I immediately switched over to personal shopping mode and that's the first place I said out loud that you should go to. If you ever come to Austin I hope to meet you and shop with you for a few hours. You have seriously changed my life Alpha! Thank you sir

Rockabilly Ragsdale probs should wait until winter or fall for that.
Billy May's here with another fantastic product!
I too have spent a ton of money trying to find the right brand of jeans. Who knows how many thousands I’ve wasted in my adulthood. I found a brand at the buckle called Departwest that are awesome, super stretchy, fit so well, have tons of washes and colors and... are prices between $50-65! I personally go for their Trouper or trouper skinny.

I used to work for American Eagle when I was younger and I can honestly say that the only thing I would ever consider buying there in the future is their denim.

Hollister epic flex skinny jeans are my personal choice and they feel great
I watched this video a month ago and time came that I went jeans shopping. I was wearing a few pairs of jeans for at least 3 years and some wore out and one even looked big on me as I lost some weight so thought I needed to get a pair or two. I revisited this and decided on Levi's. I tried slim fit for the first time (511, the exact model on this video LOL) and they looked and felt great! They had a promotion running so I got two, a regular wash and a slightly faded one for wait for it...$74. :D Even went so far as to have them alter the jeans as they were a bit too long. Now I have proper jeans that fit. Thanks for the inspiration!

American Eagle. Size 30/28 for me! Only jeans that fit me "perfect" and are affordable. Plus the flex material is legit!!!
AnnaNicolesDeathbed Agree bro. I just switched to the AE Flex back in October. So....my time with them is limited also.
How tall are u and how much do u weigh because I bought some and I liked the fit but I don't know if they're slim or skinny
I always get American eagle jeans and they last me at least 3 years, which isn’t bad considering they go on sale often for $40 each or for $60 but half off the second pair
AnnaNicolesDeathbed I've worn a couple of AE jeans for my work pants for about year and a half now. All the stages of full scale house renovations, including lots of Demo and working on knees. they will last you a very long time for just casual wear. Only have a small tear in one pair of mine from catching nail after about total of 6 months of wear for that pair alone.
Stealth ZR2 Yea American Eagle usually had really good jeans that fit really well. I'm short so i get 26/30 or 28:30

In my humble opinion AE and Levi's are my top favorite Jean brands, it's affordable and verailty of styles. And I'll give gap jeans a shot, I believe Aaron.
Gap has cheaper prices compared to AE & Levi’s. I admire Levi’s collection but when it comes to saving on good deals Gap is my destination.
