I remember seeing Bloodsport as a kid for the first time and thinking it was the coolest thing ever, then hearing this jam during the hong kong chase scene... Just the nostalgia and memories... it's hard to put in words. One of my all time favorite movies and songs period.

86 baby here and even in 2023, I still love this track. My uncle and I used to always watch this movie when I was a kid. Hell it even inspired me to take up martial arts, and never regretted it.

JCVD is finally going to be in Mortal Kombat , in the upcoming reboot game. A lot of people don't know that MK was originally inspired by Van Damme and his movie Bloodsport. That's where the Johnny Cage character came from. They asked him to be the star of the game but at the time , JCVD was far too busy with movies.
It's truly amazing this is now happening. Johnny Cage will be modeled after his Bloodsport era look and he will do the voice acting haha.

I saw Bloodsport when I was 8 years old back in 1990, only a few weeks after I watched Enter The Dragon. Those two films to this day stand out as the greatest martial arts films ever made.
