- Welcome to the Marine Bio Movie Club where Kendra Nelson and I review all your favorite ocean-related movies and documentaries! As marine biologists we hope to share some insight on to how accurate or not your favorite movies might be.
This week Kendra and I review Happy Feet. This family friendly movie turned out to be a little sexier than we remember with all the dancing penguins shaking their tail feathers. Happy Feet may not be the most science heavy film but Kendra and I were still able to discuss things like ambassadors for species, captivity and intelligence, overfishing, plastic pollution, and more.

I love the Spanish version of Happy Feet, especially Memphis' Spanish voice.

You should review the shallows! You should also do Deep Blue Sea, because aside from all the inaccuracies, it is just hilarious. And 47 Meters Down Uncaged because it is also hilarious haha
