Why are they still touching the horse? 😡😡🤬🤬🤬 Why is the Guard not calling for a soldier to check on the horse. Just looking at the horse you can tell something is wrong with the horse.
Just my opinion but, The Trooper should have hit the button. He could tell something wasn't right. Poor horse, being uncomfortable AND having to put up with tourists. 😢
Why on earth was the trooper allowing a random tourist to try and "help the horse" by petting it again and again? The guard should have hit the button, as something was clearly bothering the horse, you know, other than that moron standing next to him, whistling at him and touching him!! Someone should have been summoned to come out and check that poor horse!
@@karenfein4774 They are treated extremely well. But just like the signs, it is dependent on the guard to take care of things at his post, and this guard didn't. That's very rare for the guard to not hit the button for assistance when he thinks his horse is in need of help. This guard must have decided it wasn't anything pressing.

The tourist in the orange t-shirt was trying to help the horse guard by looking at the horses mouth. The horse may have had his bit underneath his tongue which created all of his head tossing. The horse guard should have called for help to have his horse check out. Inexcusable on his part!
Shows that some are not that bothered about their horses. Mind you the person filming this could easily have let the policemen know so that they could’ve got help.
Some of the horse guards have no common horse or people sense. Maybe they just like wearing their uniforms and not care about the horses that they are riding.
For some reason these horses are in double bits,which is alot of bulk in the mouth and definitely not classed as a mild bit like a snaffle. I have noticed they get their tongues over the bits frequently when their tongue should be under. But some horses do play with bits.But extreme head tossing does point to some discomfort.
This is just not good enough…a member of the public pointed out that there was an issue with the horse’s mouth,but the guard merely glanced at it and did nothing…We expect better from our soldiers,so come on,lads…no one can complain about the tourists if that’s how you treat the animals in your care…
Hirse was not in I ain. He/she was playing with the bit(s)(there are 2 in it's mouth). If that hirse were in oain, ears would be flat back and it would not be controllable. The trooper is doing a fine job with a fidgity horse!
How was it determined that this horse has something stuck in his mouth and is in pain. What he (she) is doing most of the horses do at one time or another. What I would have expected is high anxiety, drool, copious drool, ears going back. This my opinion of course.

Tell us again how well the horses are treated at Horse Guards. The only ones treated well are the tourists.

The tourist was being a good Samaritan trying to see what he could., What I don't understand is why the guard didn't call for help.

It seems like when they go on duty something happens to their brain. It's like the guards go into a trance.
