The descending run , tasty lick and pinched harmonic at 3.45 is very reminiscent of Roy Buchanan, another player who could pull off these wonderful tricks without any flashiness.
That is what thousands and thousands of hours of playing will get you... Jack was one of those guys...like all of the greats that would play until their fingers would bleed...I did that when I was about 13 or 14...I would have a guitar in my hands every waking moment... don't get me wrong... there is just a God given talent as well...but at the end of the day you have to put in the woodshed time to get to that level....Jack is just a master of his instrument....🎸🎸🎸
You knoe what's crazy? The Allman Brothers Band has had nothing BUT players that are considered to be among the best ever. Duane, Dickey, Jack, Warren, Derek. That's insane. Dan was great and so is Jimmy. I just don't know enough about them to know whether they're along that group.
@@J.C...Jack’s beyond all of those guys…they’re great but Jack also plays Country, acoustic blues and Jazz like Wes Montgomery. Dicky wanted to take lessons from him for a reason!
Jack Pearson. What can one say other than WOW! He is likely one of the most underrated guitarists on the planet. He can do it all while being so humble. Reminds me of the saying "walk softly but carry a big stick". Jack's big stick of choice here is a Squier Bullet Stratocaster. A true master at work!!!!
Lawd have mercy Lawd lawd the boy’s BAD. If you took a video of his upper body and face excluding the guitar during this you would have no idea the BADNESS he’s layin’ down. He always looks like he’s barely paying attention. He has the lightest touch. He says it lets the strings sing better. While he shares his beauty with us. I wanna be like Jack. ❤
Multiple master classes rolled into one video. This is incredible.
Jack Pearson a national treasure.
Jack’s the best! And sings his butt off. I was on the road with him in Gregg Allman’s Band. Learned a lot!!
I like that he’s not about the flash or theatrics, he’s just delivering the music without pretense. Amazing playing.
I agree........When you have it like Jack does there is no need to act a fool on stage to get attention!!! Jack has mine completely!
On a Squier Bullet Strat go figure !

Absolute proof that it’s all in the hands🙌🏻
@@johnwilliams1223and talent no doubt

Man, Jack is the best. Just the best. He sounds like Roy Buchanan here.

Jack Pearson is one of the best (in so many ways) guitar players I have EVER heard..period!
DOUBLE DITTO - ANY STYLE, AND HE OWNS THEM ALL..!
Hell of a singer too...
give up alcohol

Jack makes a Squier sing!!!
Its in his Mitts. He can make a squire sound like anything he wants. Jack is a RainMan.
Wow I must have been sleeping under a rock….I am a new fan for sure!!!!

Fuck me Jack Pearson is good. What he plays with the slide at the end is outrageous.
Always inspiring. The most versatile guitarist I’ve ever known of.
And Andy Aledort as a bonus. Watched him many times play on Long Island. Another great one.
JACK IS A BAD MAN... KING OF THE SLIDE.. LIVING LEGEND!
Dang this guy has some great tone
I totally agree he is one of the greatest guitarists, I must say he is also a great singer.
Absolutely. His singing isn't always well recorded. When it is (as here), it's a treat.
Jack is one of a kind!
Wow. Jack AND Andy. Much to learn from this pair. Now I know how to hide the Squier logo too.
😃
Such a sweet and extremely accomplished player. I like his playing...very much.
The organ pad is magic!
Maestro Jack doing what only he can.
J.P. and Andy "Freakin In The Dad Gum House" Aledort!
I dug it. Great player, great band.
I’m pretty sure Jack Pearson could sneeze on the guitar 🎸 and it would still sound like music 🎶
Love to hear him with Robin Ford,,,
I have a new guitar hero...WHAT A PLAYER😲
Jack is one of my two favorite guitarists, the other is Matt Schofield... two of the coolest cats to play a guitar.....
Yeah, Schofield is a beast too..
Thanks for sharing this. Jack is an amazing player.
This will inspire you! 😊
I'd drive from Timbuktu to catch this set
Unbelievable...effortless mastery and expression. I hope that in some future lifetime I can do something half as well.
Are the lyrics referring to Stevie's girlfriend Janna? They sure are fitting.
this is nice! and there's andy aledort too! awesome :)
SUPERB
Incredible
Hey this song really reminds me of Paul Butterfield in the drifting blues you you know
Plot twist: At the end, Jack says "yeah nice strat, I'll take it!"
OUTSTANDING!!!
A shade or two of
The Paul Butterfield blues band
Circa
"Drifting blues "
Classic" burning the house down" blues sound
doux Jésus ; quel plaisir
I can dig it..
No fuss no muss just back to basics and coming home
Oh WOW
To be skilled and not be abrasive to the listener
He makes it look so easy....Like everyone can do it (not)
holy sheet
well fuck! why cut it off at the end???😢
3:41 (343) 😳😳😳😳😳
Does anybody knows the title of this song?
Man that slide really screams …
Its Jack playing , not the cocaine & whiskey .
the white man finally learned to play the blues. look at the bassist. we are equal at last. no racism intended. please understand me.
A cheap $99.00 Squire never sounded so good.
Ese guitarrista es odiosamente ruidoso
Great guitarist but …Peter Green has the edge IMO
That’s like saying that Hall of Famer Ken Griffey is great, but Willie Mays is better.
Your point being…?
