- Megan is back with another Curious History Mystery. This time she visits the most fully documented account of a UFO sighting.
In 1966, Deputy Sheriff's from Portage County Ohio went on a multi state pursuit of a UFO and lived to tell the tale.

Does your mother in law come round often?
I was 8 years old and living in Cleveland when this UFO incident happened. I remember the interviews with the officers which we watched on our small black and white TV. Hope you put out more videos like this one !

I was just short of my eleventh birthday in 1966 and living with my parents just south of the Deerfield circle which is the intersection of routes 224 and 14. The two Portage County deputies drove right through our town on the morning. No one in town saw the mysterious object they were pursuing but a couple of locals claimed to have seen their vehicle go screeching around the circle that morning and wondered where they were heading in such a hurry.
My mother and I experienced a visit by a ufo in the 90's. It had some of the classic characteristics that you hear about, but some that I've never heard of before. Mama, who has now gone on to glory was very effected by it. Would love to tell you the story sometimes. I'm high in the hills of Appalachia.

If you pause the video to read the newspaper article, the police chief said he TOOK A PICTURE of the object. Then the Air Force told him NOT to release it! WTF. (Seems worth mentioning)

I was 6 when this happened. Don't remember hearing about it, so maybe my parents thought I was too young. I'm still a skeptic about UFOs but maybe one of these days undeniable proof will come to light. As always, love your stories!

I have tried to listen to 3 of these newer creations, but the speed at which you go and no fluctuation in your voice it is difficult to keep interested. You are just one tone. You should put in some dramatic pauses and maybe atmostpheric music to build tension, and slow down your speed.
