  • This is the first of a series of videos I'm working on about the homelessness and drug epidemic in the Boston area. February 4, 2023 was Boston's coldest morning since 1957 as temperatures dropped to -10 Fahrenheit. Shelters were opened around the city to help people experiencing homelessness get out of the cold. On the night of February 4, I went to Boston's South Station, which was open throughout the weekend as a shelter, and tried to document the situation there. Most people were reticent to be interviewed or were not in a coherent state, but a few were able to talk to me and share their experiences

      @@USA92 definitely appreciated it but it was funny how most of the people taking selfies next to the banners at the charity events wouldn’t actually talk to the people they were supposedly raising money to help out
