Samsung's first smartwatches were square before Apple even had a watch. I've been hoping they brought that back since it left. Meanwhile the rest of android dropped circle watches so that would mean Apple copied Samsung to begin with. It's a back and forth we can't praise Apple for coping then shame others for doing it. Apple is stealing how you customize your home screen from android right now but everyone loves it. Let's keep it fair. Samsung started the hole punch in the phone craze and now Apple has it on it's phones plus many other things. Truthfully it doesn't matter as long as the final product is fire the consumer wins.
Galaxy watches to me look awesome. The buds u wonder about. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a phone I wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole. Foldable screens still fail often.
Samsung had this design years ago and was the first to have square watches

Apple is software not so much of hardware but now they finally made a a15 lineup of soc , apple slowly jumping in the hardware game , using their own screens , chips , but non of this should be possible not even competitions because they not the only one using these products. So all big tech should get along for us the people convience , I would like to play some apple store games and subscribe to them also

I have a friend in Korea that really hates what Samsung is doing with their phones in recent years. He blames it on, Roh Tae-moon, who became Samsung's President of Mobile Divison in 2020. Which is coincidentally when we start to see Samsung change like dropping Microsd slot in the flagships, and getting rid of the charger in the box, etc. My friend in Korea really believes ever since Roh Tae-moon became President of Samsung's mobile division is when Samsung really tries to copy Apple in certain aspects to their phones, etc.

Samsung is one of the OG's in the smartwatch. They did square, circle, curved, squircle, rectangle...long before Apple. Kudos for recognizing that fact in your video!
I don’t think a button color is any more copying than Apple "copying" a Power button on iphones; or a punch-hole; or more RAM; or Home Screen customization. At this point, we've reached peak on these devices, and there's only so much either company can do.

@EricDejuanOOO the galaxy s5 active literally had a camo variant with an orange action button way back in the early 2000’s. I had the phone myself, and it was able to be completely submerged underwater way back then.

At the end of the day does a phone really matter? People will like what they like, I remember when there were no cell phones or personal computers as a lot of other people do.
I have many earbuds, including the Buds2 Pro, and my most comfortable and reliable pair are the stem style Soundcore Liberty 4. I think this design is superior for call quality and stability (not for looks). So I think the new stem Buds 4 design to me is a step in the right direction.
I have a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, & 6 Classic. I will not upgrade if they include colorful highlights on the watch 7. If it isn't all stainless or all black... It's not for me.

As a well entrenched Apple ecosystem guy for a while a couple observations. One, I like the round watch aesthetic more than the Apple watch square body. I even tried an older Samsung watch for a few weeks and to be honest I like the functionality and form factor. If the "orange" action button is going to be a real thing, that's a clear design "dig" at Apple. The Samsung buds, again, if an accurate depiction that may or may not be an Apple influenced decision. In my way of thinking it is clear over all these years of observation/use these two tech titans (and others) copy each other's designs. Frankly, there's not too many different ways to go with these products relative to design/implementation. Use what YOU like and makes sense for YOU, your budget and lifestyle and don't get so hung up tech class warfare. Just my 2 cents worth.
I hate the stem design. I hate the weird, squared and round watch design. And please don't get me started on the fold 6. I'm gonna sit this one out this year, Samsung.
Considering Samsung made smart watches and wireless earbuds with cases years before apple I don't really care. I will admit the similarities are jarring. Also the ultra name has always been a Samsung thing.
The Samsung earbuds iconx and Samsung Gear Watch came out 6 months prior to the Apple AirPods and Apple Watch. Not years

I have seen the Honor V2, and with their second iteration, they have built a better foldable phone than Samsung. With stylus support on all screens, if I weren't a Samsung fanboy, I would change my entire ecosystem. I would like to have the new watch and buds, but the Fold 6 sounds so disappointing that I might change everything. It's a shame because as an old Note user, I had hoped that the Fold, which was predestined to be the ultimate Note, would have evolved more. All the other content creators are singing praises for the new Fold even though they have seen that there are better devices out there. You are one of the only honest creators who say it like it is.
I am disappointed and confused with what Samsung is doing. I also can't understand why they would use the word "ultra" or "slim" and then want to release the phone months later. It will coincide with the S25 sales, and then a couple of months later, the Fold 7? They used to own almost 60% of the foldable phone market, but with this strategy, they are going to lose even more.

After watching your channel, I was going to buy a watch 6 classic a couple months ago. Then I heard the watch 7 was coming so I decided to wait. However, the anticipated price of the Ultra is way too much. Now I'll just wait and look across the android watches when the ultra actually gets here.
So when apple releases the same bs Android been rocking for years you tell the Samsung Knights to stand down.....But when it's Samsing copying design ques from apple it's Roast session Tom Brady Style ??? Lol I do agree those prices are wild for the watch and if they were going with a apple esque design they need to make the entire screen square.
How were the fold 4 and 5 ? I had the 3 for a year and a half and traded it in. Got rid of that money monster. The inside screen cracked, the inner screen protector came off, the battery sucked had to charge it 2, sometimes 3 times a day. Now two generations later are people still dealing with this same crap?

Great content. As for samsung trying to be apple. It's the same for apple trying to be samsung. Look at the iPhone16 pro max doing what samsung has been doing with there phone's for ages.🤔 as for the watch 7 ultra, I like the first renders of it more than the recent renders. It looks like the Panerai luminor chronograph. For me, I don't look at the watch as 700, I look at it as 50 bucks a month through my career. In the end, both brands are taking things from each other. It really doesn't matter anymore. BUT samsung still gives you a lot more freedom to make your watch yours. Sorry apple.

I am sorry but I don't think it is correct to try to make Samsung do the front screen wider. There are people who like it that way because they hold the phone with 1 hand on the streets, and the 2nd hand is always busy. If a lot of people request that, Samsung will introduce a wider front screen killing the comfort for other users. Wider screens are already available on other phones. This one is for a specific niche of busy people who have their 2nd hand always busy. I don't think it is fair since there would be nothing offered to this type of customer then. Should we always hold on to old phones then as a result? 😢

Note 10+ and the Beast Note 9. My personal opinion the direction of product quality has shifted since the change of leadership. If you think back Samsung was always giving us a year of one product that tested the market and have a new direction but never settled on the same design after 2yrs now it's the Apple way ( safe design that works and internals that work, gradually better but not true upgrade unlike the past)

To be frank i live thr sterm design and i camt wait to add thrm to my 24Ultra. All i want is i for them to work properly on Samsung like the airpods pro.
This is truthfully all that matters is that it works well.
Im still using the fold 3 only problem i had it needed a new screen protector for the inside screen i just hope the fold 6 is a big upgrade if not I'll be keeping it for one more year as for the watch I'll keep my 6 classic as for the buds think I'll keep my buds plus works fins for me still hard to give up 10 hours of music
Both copy each other all the time but I do feel Samsung take more jabs. The battery and headphone jack are things Samsung poked fun on then did the same thing. Then Apple copies with the big screens and customization. At the end of the day like it or not, we get quality stuff from these two. But even though I use iPhone, Samsung has always been supreme with their split screen and true multitasking. Man Apple needs to step that up!!!

The copying is a back and forth. When Apple designed the notch to hold the Face ID components, other androids OEMS and not Samsung, copied the design.
Samsung always had an always on display. Apple finally included an always on display in their own style. Samsung later copied that design of always on display on their s24 Ultra.

As a gymrat I can say apples airpods stem design aren't all dat good all day time when it comes to doing back workouts or like latpulldowns or pullups when going all the way down my shoulders end up touching the stem of the airpods and just moved them around or they fall off my ear don't get me wrong tho I love them I have the airpods 2 that I bought in 2020 right after I graduated basic training was my first giftni bought myself at the airport heading back home and they have lasted me ever since but back to my point it's currently 2024 so I end up switching to my pixel buds or my beats it's convenient I own about 4 pairs of earbuds 3 headphones lmao apple isn't so bad when it comes to it audio stuff as for their phones that's a different story those suck in my opinion but overall their airpods are some pretty amazing products I've yet to try out the Galaxy buds even tho I have 4 Samsung phones I love the Zfold 5 and s23 ultra 😍 that's why I have 2 of each and just 1 iphone lmao

Apple copied always on display, widgets, theming (coming in ios 18), wireless charging, face unlock (Android had it from the start), fast charging, high refresh rates on cell phones lol. Stop it. Im laughing so hard! Nothing about thag design made sense. It's horrible. Samsung just are no longer leaders in tech. They are following which is why i went back to the pixel.
