I love how we're hearing Daniel talk about how little saltpetre there'd be per bottle as Rex put probably about 10 times the amount you'd find in a bottle into his mouth.
Would love the drip tower! Nothing would make a teacher’s life better like having something like this tower to relax by while grading papers and waiting on a miraculous beverage to filter through aromatics and herbals with Mr Whittington prepared to give exact tasting notes.
This RUclips campaign Mr. Black is running is clutch. A month and a half ago I could've cared less, but i have seen the product repeatedly presented by RUclips channels I trust that I am now genuinely curious about it. Good job advertising geniuses!
This is a comment, the most commenty of comments, made in desperation for bar gear I certainly do not need, but most definitely want. Looking forward to a cold fashion with some family and the quarantine pod. Cheers to the tribe for all the knowledge and good times!
So it's entirely possible that a person could have gone their whole life drinking "whisky" but never having actually drank whisky, because of recipes like these. Really want to try one of those Cold Fashioned drinks as well, looks tasty.
I would share a Cold Fashioned with my Dad. Even though he is only a few hours away, I don't get to see him as often as I would like. COVID has really made it hard to see him. I don't have it, yet. I work in retail. He is 76 years old and has lived a hard life. He is dealing with other health issues. I want to go see him over Christmas, and I can't. I'm not looking to win, I just needed to vent. Much love to Rex and Daniel. I love your channels! I would have never bought Octomore without your recommendations.
Mr. Black is by far the best coffee liquer out there for the reasons they said; mainly: that it is not too sweet. I just wish Ohio had it. If it was easier to get here, I would share with everyone I know that likes coffee.
I would so share this with my father, he's the one who showed me both whiskey and coffee and this would be a new adventure for both of us to enjoy in these trying time's
Definitely feeling a sense of pride in the Australian alcohol industries. I'm thrilled that the rest of the world is giving us props as the young underdog.
My father is the hardest working man I know and a serial coffee drinker. He has to have at least three cups every morning to get his day going and a couple at night (Yes, his sleep routine involves coffee). This would be the most excellent way to show my appreciation for him by combining coffee and alcohol and giving him the best nightcap coffee drink of his life.
I'm moving into my own place soon, and honestly that drip tower would be the absolute funniest thing to make up explanations for to people who come over. Definitely sharing some cold fashioneds with all my neighbors, in the form of dropping sealed containers off on their porches. (Or just by myself in crippling loneliness because I have way too much social anxiety to be outgoing like that haha)
Perfect marriage of my two favorites cold drip coffee and the classic old fashioned. The flavor described matches my ideal pairing of dark chocolate 'Jaffa/orange ' and cask strength scotch 'peat'
I have a virtually identical forklift at work (different brand name, same truck.) I do the same thing at least once a year, getting it stuck in the mud or snow. Those little indoor tires are not made for off roading! Keep up the good work Gentlemen!
I'd totally share this with my Love 💞 take our time and marinate while our beverage does what it's gonna do.. definitely adding Mr Black to my liquor cabinet. Thanks!
I'd definitely share a cold fashioned with my husband while we're in quarantine. I've got a bottle of Mr Blacks in my liquor cabinet and it's honestly got a home there. Tasty stuff!
Ohh neat. Cool to hear to watch Greg @How to drink as well Rex. You know, he mentioned being totally down for a joint venture with you guys sometime. Just tossing it out there! Great episode as normal!
That cold drip tower looks awesome! Had barrel aged coffee in Lexington, KY and wanted to replicate that experience. Started roasting my own beans a while back and this is the next logical step. Thanks for combining two awesome beverages guys, keep it up!
I would share a Cold Fashioned with my good friend David, who has been in and out of the hospital all year and is only now finally fully recovering. Because of Covid I've been unable to be there for him, which has been incredibly difficult, and I'm looking forward to the good times we'll have once all this has passed!
After almost everything of mine breaking (car flipped, phone ceased function, beard trimmer shorted , and my unnecessarily awesome siphon coffee maker breaking during a move) it's awesome to see that y'all are still at it
That Drip Tower looks amazing, I can feel my wife's eyes rolling already......that being said I want it even more now. I would totally share that with my Brother,
One of the distilleries close to me has a drip tower. I think they said they use it for making special cocktail mixes for their tasting room. Looks like something that would be fun to play with!
I would definitely host a party where we sit around the cold brew tower. I've heard really good things about Mr. Black on Cocktail Chemistry and have been meaning to grab a bottle, so seeing it here is really interesting as well. Really excited to see what a cold brew old fashioned is like.
Cold brew and whiskey ftw. That's how I do my Irish Coffees! I'd share a Cold Fashioned with my wife... I'm really trying hard to get her to drink whiskey in some way, shape, or form!
Huge fan of Mr. Black. Maybe not the best choice Old Fashioned for late at night but I will definitely find excuses to introduce friends to it for pre-game! It also works really well with Bittercube's Cherry Bark Vanilla bitters
First off, a cold fashion sounds amazing right now!!! But if I could choose, one person. Idd fly back to the US and have it with my pops!!! That damn covid always screwing up plans these days... but I’ll drink with you guys also!!
That thing would look awesome in my living room. I'd share one with everyone who asked what it was for, but especially my wife (Joyce) who really needs a drink after she gives birth to our second son. Cheers!
A small note on the Mr Black, it's a great coffee liqueur however a lot of common cocktail recipes when they say "coffee liqueur" what they mean is Kahlua, so if you make a cocktail with Mr Black following one of those recipies it can come out under-sweetened so you might need to add a bit of simple syrup just to add that sweetness back in.
whiskey infusion by swedish Cajsa Warg, 1755 recipe. (Though she named as Uskueba, which has same root that devoloped into whiskey) : you need a bullet (13.3g) of anise, fennel, coriander, cinnamon, cardamom, ¾ bullet of nutmeg, half a bullet of cloves, licorice root, dill and hyssop. Crush and mix with two jugs of liquor. (The jug holds about 2 2/3 liters.) Add ½ bullet of saffron, half a pound (a pound weighs 425 g.) of raisins and dates or figs. Let it brew for 8 days, filter. Sweeten to taste.
I would share a cold fashion with my wife on Christmas morning, because we would need one while the kids and pets turn our livingroom into a holiday version of Thunderdome!
It would be so cool to be able to make a Cold Fashioned with the drip tower at home just to share one with my wife and see her roll her eyes at how ridiculous and over-the-top my quarantine hobbies have become.
This kit is awesome. Sweet stuff. I would definitely share a cold fashion with Daniel. Feel like you can pick his brain about so much whiskey stuff. Also might be able to mooch something I’ve never tried. Haha
I have been wanting to try the Mr Black for a while now. I have seen that they have ones with specific regional coffees in it. As a coffee nerd, I whole heartedly approve
The first person I would share a cold fashioned with is my buddy who moved away a few years ago. We text each other almost daily with a picture of the old fashioned we're enjoying at the time. No words are exchanged... no words are needed...
The Fort restaurant in Morrison, Colorado makes something similar to this. They call it frontier whiskey. Contains red pepper, tobacco, and gun powder. Absolutely worth the try.
I love Mr Black...make a Cold Fashioned and your life will be better. I actually got most of my extended family hooked on them when I brought a bottle to a family reunion, so I share it with everyone.
You're saying you had this drip-tower contraptions and we get no shenanigans? Outrageous! I'd share a cold fashioned with my wife. She doesn't often finish a drink, so I'd get hers too.
I bought my first bottle of Mr. Black a couple weeks and I LOVE it. I'm already on my second bottle. Equal parts Mr. Black and Laphroaig 10 makes for an interesting afternoon. ;)
That cold brew drip tower is actually pretty cool. I've never seen one before, and I can only imagine the countless options there are as far as mixing drinks goes.
I would share the cold brew with my friend (Sittha) and my family when this pandemic is over. Old Fashion with my friend, and the Mr. Black with my Family. Haven't seen Mr. Black here in my state, but I am looking forward to try it.
I'm game for a little giveaway action. Time to branch outside of a neat pour of whiskey, maybe? I think I might just share a cold fashioned with myself.
Oh Rex mentioned Greg from "How to drink"!!! Can I hope for a collaboration???? 🙋🏻♀️
Agreed!
Well I know that these guys are patreon supporters of how to drink so maybe
@@JesusIsMySaviorILoveJesus Oh I didn't know that! Thanks for the info 🙂
I love how we're hearing Daniel talk about how little saltpetre there'd be per bottle as Rex put probably about 10 times the amount you'd find in a bottle into his mouth.
My thought exactly
It reminded me of the microgram dose thresholds of LSD, and how absolutely beyond ascended someone would be if they did that
Saltpeter? I prefer his cousin Pepperjack, honestly
Or his brother ColbyJack
Would love the drip tower! Nothing would make a teacher’s life better like having something like this tower to relax by while grading papers and waiting on a miraculous beverage to filter through aromatics and herbals with Mr Whittington prepared to give exact tasting notes.
Whiskey Tribe: We're an educational entity
Also Whiskey Tribe: Food grade chemicals are overrated
This RUclips campaign Mr. Black is running is clutch. A month and a half ago I could've cared less, but i have seen the product repeatedly presented by RUclips channels I trust that I am now genuinely curious about it. Good job advertising geniuses!
Dude, that drip tower looks rad! My wife would *hate* to have to find a spot for that in our kitchen, so I *need* it!
This is a comment, the most commenty of comments, made in desperation for bar gear I certainly do not need, but most definitely want. Looking forward to a cold fashion with some family and the quarantine pod. Cheers to the tribe for all the knowledge and good times!

Heya Ryan, sorry to hear about your Dad. We hope you 2 can reunite soon.
For those who haven't had it Mr Black is really worth it. Good range of products too!
I love Greg, I love a coffee old fashioned. I have some Kahlua at home, but I guess I need to get myself some Mr. Black now.
Definitely do it if you can get your hands on Mr. Black. It's very different to Kahlua (far less sweet) but it's really great.
It's not quite as good but you can just use half an ounce of Kahlua and make up the other half with a cold brew concentrate, or just strong coffee
Mr. Black is by far the best coffee liquer out there for the reasons they said; mainly: that it is not too sweet. I just wish Ohio had it. If it was easier to get here, I would share with everyone I know that likes coffee.
Can you do a video comparing one of Scotland’s oldest distillery’s vs Scotland’s newest and see how they compare
I would so share this with my father, he's the one who showed me both whiskey and coffee and this would be a new adventure for both of us to enjoy in these trying time's
This channel is the best on RUclips. I liked this episode more than I originally thought I would.
Definitely feeling a sense of pride in the Australian alcohol industries. I'm thrilled that the rest of the world is giving us props as the young underdog.

Can't wait to try the Mr. Black Old Fashion out with my wife. We both love whiskey and coffee. Should be a real treat! Thanks for the demo!

Cold brew old fashioned sounds amazing. After watching this at 8am I think I'll have two
Dudes, this is the best thing for making continuous old fashioned around the clock.
I'd definitely share a cold fashioned with my husband while we're in quarantine. I've got a bottle of Mr Blacks in my liquor cabinet and it's honestly got a home there. Tasty stuff!

My favorite moment of the week is when you guys release a video!!

We need more of those Tribe videos, never a dissapointment, stay healthy fellow MB's.
That Drip Tower looks amazing, I can feel my wife's eyes rolling already......that being said I want it even more now. I would totally share that with my Brother,
The drip tower looks fascinating- my boyfriend and I would have so much fun with it.
I'd make a batch of coffee fashioneds for my family at Christmas. Would surely look like Breaking Bad lol. Perfect Christmas memory
One of the distilleries close to me has a drip tower. I think they said they use it for making special cocktail mixes for their tasting room.
Looks like something that would be fun to play with!
I would definitely host a party where we sit around the cold brew tower.

I'd love to share it with my wife. She loves child brew. I love whisk(e)y. It's a match made in heaven.
Would love to make the cold brew drip tower my next liqueur exploration! Love the chan chan, keep it up!
Cold brew and whiskey ftw. That's how I do my Irish Coffees! I'd share a Cold Fashioned with my wife... I'm really trying hard to get her to drink whiskey in some way, shape, or form!
This is an interesting concept and that cold brew dripper looks amazing
Would love to see what else you can put in that tower for your coffee Whiskey (think: bacon & eggs 😘). You guys rock! Cheers 🥃

I absolutely love Mr. Black. It's the drink kalua wishes it could be when it grows up.
Thanks legend
That thing would look awesome in my living room.
I'd share one with everyone who asked what it was for, but especially my wife (Joyce) who really needs a drink after she gives birth to our second son.
Cheers!
Honestly everyone in this video is great, so on that note I'm having a drink and sharing a toast with all of my friends at crowded barrel!
Always a good time with you guys....who sez education can't be fun! Drip Tower...yes please!

A cold fashion would be great with friends when it safe again in CA

''There's spirals involved, you have to drink it!''
Do as you need to in those times but the Mr Black drinks sound great, I think my wife would love these and she loves whiskey and coffee
That drip tower looks pretty amazing. Fun way to make cocktails during quarantine with the wife...
Would share this with my family as we love our coffee and whisky!
The ice lord would like his cold brew drip pour over!🥶
I would share a cold fashion with my wife on Christmas morning, because we would need one while the kids and pets turn our livingroom into a holiday version of Thunderdome!
Most definitely
It would be so cool to be able to make a Cold Fashioned with the drip tower at home just to share one with my wife and see her roll her eyes at how ridiculous and over-the-top my quarantine hobbies have become.
This kit is awesome. Sweet stuff. I would definitely share a cold fashion with Daniel. Feel like you can pick his brain about so much whiskey stuff. Also might be able to mooch something I’ve never tried. Haha
My dad and brother love coffee, so this tower would make for some great experimentation with them.
Have to share it with my dad. A huge whiskey fan and coffee fan.
I have been wanting to try the Mr Black for a while now. I have seen that they have ones with specific regional coffees in it. As a coffee nerd, I whole heartedly approve
This dripper looks absoloutly Amazing. Thanks for the idea of making a drip with coffee liqueur.
10:56 Over Rexs left shoulder is that a wooden absinthe infuser looks cool.
I would probably share a cold fashioned with some of my barista former coworkers. We all know baristas have an equal love for coffee and whiskey.
Mr. Black sounds like the sophisticated drink that should be in the next James Bond movie. “A Mr. black cold fashioned, shaken not stirred.”
Mr. Black just makes me think of Jack Black.
@@joepower777 makes me think of the
Kamp Krusty episode from The Simpsons
Amen
I absolutely love cold brew. I can't wait to find Mr. Black and try it.
Love the how to drink channel, time to check out Mr Black.
What a great way to wake up ,love your videos, thanks for the adventure
5:27 that one kid in chemistry class
Glad to see Greg with how to drink get a shout out! :)
Such a cool concept! Would be fun to actually experiment with some stuff in the drip with Rex and Daniel to see what other things they'd come up with
Coffee liquor!
Sounds perfekt for a cold morning
The first person I would share a cold fashioned with is my buddy who moved away a few years ago. We text each other almost daily with a picture of the old fashioned we're enjoying at the time. No words are exchanged... no words are needed...
I'm gonna need to get my hands on some of that Mr. Black, I love chocolate oranges and the Cold Fashioned sounds right up my alley
So glad I hung in there to see Rex the mixologist make a cold fashioned 👏👏👏👏
Thank you Mr. Black for supporting our community
No one else I know is a regular coffee drinker, so I would share that tower with myself. Maybe make a cocktail for my sister too.
Thanks for the video guys. Gives me great ideas to try with my whiskey. Also gives me a new channel to explore. I'm going to look for Mr Black.
This episode is why I watch this channel. I would share that tower and the drink with my lovely wife.
The Fort restaurant in Morrison, Colorado makes something similar to this. They call it frontier whiskey. Contains red pepper, tobacco, and gun powder. Absolutely worth the try.
That looks amazing! There's a coffee shop near me in Salem, MA that has a cold brew setup very much like that.
I’m just here for the contest, I NEED more Mr Black in my life
Can we get more rectifying episodes? Because I love this concept. I’ve been waiting for this ever since Daniel talked about it in the Vault ages ago
I love Mr Black...make a Cold Fashioned and your life will be better. I actually got most of my extended family hooked on them when I brought a bottle to a family reunion, so I share it with everyone.
Amazing to hear
I’m going to have to give this recipes a try!
Love the tower, great episode!
I'm so glad Greg and HTD are getting some cross RUclips love!
Great video as usual. I would share the Cold Fashioned with my wife. I'm trying to get her more into whiskey, and this recipe might be a good gateway.
You're saying you had this drip-tower contraptions and we get no shenanigans? Outrageous!
I'd share a cold fashioned with my wife. She doesn't often finish a drink, so I'd get hers too.
Love Mr Black, planning to share a cold fashioned or two with my family over the holidays
I bought my first bottle of Mr. Black a couple weeks and I LOVE it. I'm already on my second bottle. Equal parts Mr. Black and Laphroaig 10 makes for an interesting afternoon. ;)
Incredible, cheers Tyler!
I would definitely share Mr Black with my wife. Rex was right - it’s made with spirals, so she has to drink it!
That cold brew drip tower is actually pretty cool. I've never seen one before, and I can only imagine the countless options there are as far as mixing drinks goes.
That is the coolest drip tower I have ever seen...I want that so badly
Would share this with my wife and father in law, its a tradition that when one of us gets a new spirit we all try the first pour
I’ll share this with fellow coffee loving loved ones for the holidays
I would share the cold brew with my friend (Sittha) and my family when this pandemic is over. Old Fashion with my friend, and the Mr. Black with my Family. Haven't seen Mr. Black here in my state, but I am looking forward to try it.
I'm game for a little giveaway action. Time to branch outside of a neat pour of whiskey, maybe? I think I might just share a cold fashioned with myself.
Tower looks like a pain to clean, but what a beautiful piece to have on display!
