I have been using a Cricut for 14 years. I enjoyed the video except incredibly disappointed with your statement that there is no reason to subscibe to Cricut Access. You may not need their images but for many it is convenient to have their collection available.
I’m beginning to hate Cricut. As soon as I think I have learned all the in and outs of the machine, they have an update and I’m starting from ground zero 😢
I have found Cricut Design Space to be extremely confusing and not user friendly at all. I'm also not familiar with a lot of the terms that are being referred to, which makes it hard to follow. I'm a complete beginner.
Why can’t they get the dimensions bigger? This size company should be able to do that so you don’t have to use a different program. My biggest frustration!!
I am SO lost with trying to use my Joy. I have spent a whole afternoon trying to learn just how to print a font for tumblers. I cannot get my fonts to stay together at all. It is cutting them, but in separate letters. I will look into your complete guide. I am so frustrated.
The A4 setting for print then cut was probably added for the UK/European market, as that is the standard size of paper available here. Letter size is almost never found.
I brought a cricut and not been able to use it because I don’t get design space. I’m in the uk and it seems harder to understand. I’m watching your video hoping my brain will understand it 😂ty
I still don’t understand print an cut! Why can’t I just cut like I did years ago
What happened to your pretty hair
So many updates it’s hard to keep up 🎉
Lots of great info here but for the true beginner, I think taking a step back on each of the features and slowing down a bit would be very helpful.
I have a joy that I don’t use often and came on today to find it impossible to just get to the design space!
This was so helpful for me as a beginner! Thanks so much for your explanation - you explained it so well!
Thanks! I can't wait to see your new ideas.
Omg!! My favorite cricut teacher!!! I had videos playing while I was cleaning and this video came on and I was like omg I know that voice!!
LOVE the hair cut!!!
great tutorial for beginners!
Thank you, I am sure I will have to refer to this video frequently.
Hello, disregard my earlier comment. I think I stumbled on the fix. Thank you.
Just got out my Cricut today after a lot of time a way. Very disappointed that SVG and DXF import still do not work properly (Design Space makes imports them wildly larger than they are in the SVG or DXF). Their alignment tools are a pain, too. It's sad that a nice piece of hardware is accompanied by less-than-stellar software.
