With the tip about don’t go thrifting with a friend with the same style, I feel like you can go with them if your two have different size clothing. Because I’m very small and my friend with similar style is really tall so she can’t get things that I want since they won’t fit her. This is just my opinion though, you do what you want!

Most of the cute plaid skirts I have I've gotten in the kids section. I RARELY get skirts from the women's section because they don't have my size. Keep in mind I'm a 4'9 guy so this tip may not work for you if you're taller/have fuller hips, ect ect. But go thrift what YOU want to thrift, if you like it and it doesn't fit/isn't your style you can always return it or sell it. Happy thrifting!!

You find such nice clothes so quick xD I'm very picky with clothing textures and stuff, the only easy thing is that i either wear M or L (XL at times) cuz Small is just too suffocating for me (My body is normal size but i just like being comfortable) My closet is legit only black, white, cream colored clothes hahaha.
