God bless you!! Just bought a used Sienna and picked it up after they detailed it. Found a heap of mats in the way back and had no idea where they went or how. Checked the manual and there was nothing about these mats 😳. After trying to imagine how these might fit I was certain they put the wrong mats in the back and was ready to toss them when I thought to check RUclips as a last resort. Your video was the first to pop up and I cannot THANK YOU enough for this excellent video. Took me less than 10 minutes to get these in and I would never have figured this out otherwise!!
Thanks for this one. Very clear directions and easy to understand. One thing I will add…my mats have those little spikes on the back to keep the mat from sliding those are difficult to slide under the seats. If you take a piece of cardboard and cut it a little narrower than the mat and slide it under first, the mats will slide right over the cardboard slick as a whistle.
You are the cat's meow! I took our Sienna (love it!) back to the dealer so they could show me how to install the mats....they did not know! Now the floor of the van looks great! Thank you!
You are a lifesaver! Just bought a 2015 from dealer and they just threw the larger mat across the floor in front of the middle seats and tossed the rest in the back. If they weren't more than an hour away, I would have taken it back. They will get a call from me. I couldn't even imagine where all the pieces went. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
vivianosboy It awesome that I was able to help but very unfortunate they didn’t put the mats in for you. They usually come get me when they need installing because I’m quick at it. Thanks for watching and letting me know!💪🏻👊🏻
We bought our Sienna used and I have been trying to figure out the floor mats. Kinda crazy that there needs to be an instructional video on how to install these but Toyota sure made it confusing. Thanks so much great video!
Well that was absolutely awesome! Just yesterday, I had the carpets and mats of my 2011 Sienna shampooed at a full-service car wash. After bringing the van home and laying the mats out to dry, I could not find a good way to re-install them. I considered removing the seats, but decided to use the power of the internet - and there YOU were showing me just what to do! THANK YOU! Here's a happy fist-pump back at ya!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I bought a 2017 Sienna a year ago and the dealership had the mats in sideways instead of front to back. It works for us because we rarely use the back seats but when we do use the back, the front seats couldn't slide because the wider mat was in the way! I knew there must be a better way and I'm so thankful I found your video. Super easy to follow and now I finally have all of them in the right place! Thanks!!!
After watching the video it took about ten minutes. I didn't even remember how the mats went after the detail guys took them out and left to dry. Thanks again.
This is what happens to floor mat design when American priannah lawyers line up a couple sob stories about "your floor mats went under the pedals and put me in a wheel chair". Great video by the way. I was so frustrated trying to figure out how these mats went in it totally took the joy out of getting my used Sienna home. Didn't even want to go for a ride in it. In the process of monkeying with the mats and the seats, I messed up a seat and now instead of being happy about a new-to-me Toyota it I kinda just wish I had my old POS Chrystler back. Toyota should give you a big bonus for making this video!
You’re very welcome! I definitely had a very difficult time the first time I did it until I figured out an easier way! Glad it helped! Thanks for watching and commenting!💪🏻👊🏻
Thank you sooo much!! Still having trouble sticking the tiny side mats in under the seat but good enough for now. I was so frustrated before watching your video
Carlos Diaz Glad it helped! These things are a booger to install especially if you've never done it. Think it took me like 30-45 minutes the first time I did. Thanks for watching
hi, I just purchased a used 2017 toyota sienna xle 8 passenger with tan interior. Do you happen to know the part no. for floor mats. Mine did not have any in the van when I bought it. I keep getting conflicting numbers when I look it up online
the only part number that I have handy is the number through Southeast Toyota parts but your should be able to at least track the correct ones. the part number for the 8 passenger tan/bisque interior is PT206-08139-41. Hope this helps
Excellent video. I didn't even need to read the directions after this... Only suggestion is, i retracted / laid down the 3rd row seats giving a flat surface in the back to work from.
Great video! We have a 2019 Sienna and ordered the carpets for it - PT2060817941 (for 2018-2020). These carpets did not have the rubber lips on them to go under the tracks and hold them in place. They are just pieces of carpet and look like they would move during use (especially the ones next to the slider doors. Do you know if there are any carpets with the rubber lips on them or am I just missing something to hold them in place. If not, it seems that Toyota did not think this totally through. Thanks and have a fantastic day! Todd
I think they have transitioned to the mats that basically just lay on top of the carpet. It’s what the 2021 models have now so not sure if the other ones are still available or not
At 1:21 and 6:41, you show the strap with two snaps that connects two floor mats. Is it possible to buy just those without the mats? One of mine broke, and unfortunately one of the mats slides forward because of it.
This is just in case the mats had to be taken out for cleaning or something like that. The newer ones have a different type of mat that simply lays on top of the carpet
just purchased a 2015 XLE and the mats were not in the vehicle correctly. I couldn't figure out how they were to fit correctly and found your video. My mats were missing one of the plastic snap straps and I'll be darned if I can find that part online. Do you happen to know the part numbers of any of the mats or parts for the mats? Thanks.
jdretiree I'm glad the video helped! Thanks for watching!💪🏻👊🏻. Not sure about the part number but let me see if I can locate something to help you out. Are you just missing one of the button straps?
If you're referring to the mats you can just do the opposite of the installation process. You push down on the edges and slip the black guards from underneath the tracks
I'm not sure how the second mats will work from Weather Tech. Never seen those in there. I will say that the 2nd row all weather mats from Toyota aren't that good
Ashok Pinto You should be able to order through any Toyota parts dept. you would need the year and color interior but could probably use the vin to pull that up. Also if it is a 7 or 8 passenger. You could also probably order them through the Toyota.com site

Had my van detailed and they said not to put the mats in until the carpets were dry. Had no ideal until I found this video. Thanks

Just bought a 2017 Sienna with all the mats just placed in the back. This video was awesome for helping me install this floor mat jig saw puzzle.
Same happened to me. Why do they do that ,any idea
I never would’ve figured this out by myself in a million years. Thanks!
The accent made me homesick for the south! Especially when you say mash down 😊
After watching the video it took about ten minutes. I didn't even remember how the mats went after the detail guys took them out and left to dry. Thanks again.
Got 2015 Sienna detailed and my wife and I were just looking at the floor mats and went WTF? Good thing I found this video. Thank you!
Harrison Kim Glad it was able to help you! Thanks for watching!
Just bought a 2016 and the detailers didn't put the mats back in (probably couldn't figure out how) and I would have been LOST without this video!

I appreciate the video. This made it much easier, as I was utterly confused by the way these were run. Thank you!

How do you remove the carpets?
If you're referring to the mats you can just do the opposite of the installation process. You push down on the edges and slip the black guards from underneath the tracks
+The Fist Pump Guy thanks!I just got weather tech floor mats and they said to remove all of the factory floor mats and i couldn't figure out how to!
I'm not sure how the second mats will work from Weather Tech. Never seen those in there. I will say that the 2nd row all weather mats from Toyota aren't that good
