Can’t believe I didn’t find your channel sooner. Exactly the content I’ve been looking for.
Hey, thanks! Just getting started but I have a lot coming!! 👊🏻
The drawings and your explanation make this so easy to understand! Thanks for the tennis lesson!
You know where to find me! 👊🏻
Hey man, just found your channel, watched all your videos and subscribed. Thank you for the amazing content!
Here's a couple of suggestions for next videos:
1 - Second serve tactics (as a server)
2- Court coverage and positioning when approaching the net after hitting an offensive shot. Also: best options if you get lobbed.
Cheers!
Hey, thank you my friend!! I’m stoked to hear you like what I’m working on! There will be lots more to come!
And thanks for the suggestions - adding them to the list!!
I love these videos. Keep them coming . Not only doesn’t help Tennis playing, it really informs me of what to watch when I enjoy watching tennis on TV. Great stuff.
@timothycharlton Love to hear this! That's what I'm all about! I think understanding tactics makes the game a lot more enjoyable on a lot of levels! Working hard on more good stuff for you, my friend! 🫡
This is gold, just developed my serve a bit, but didn't understand what patterns to play after hitting a good one, thank you!
Love these kind of comments! Lots more good stuff coming through the pipeline!
Thanks for making and uploading this - will use this tomorrow :)
Yes! Love it! 👊🏻
Fantastic. Thanks! I study Fed by watching dozens of full matches and I know exactly where he’s gonna serve before he does! So I’m working on his tactics and this is much appreciated! As a 59 year old professional player, I use my forehand to win. Now I’ve got your help! Thanks!
That’s awesome! Always good to meet another student of Federer’s game!! 🫡
Honestly speaking you have really good content am Subscribing for sure 🎉🎉
Hey, thank you! I appreciate the feedback and I'll keep bringing my A game in coming videos!
Just tried it and beat a 4.3 player I (6.3) normally lose to. Love it!
Yo! Love these types of comments!!! 👊🏻
Are these UTR numbers you're talking about? or...? And you're saying he's ranked higher than you, right?
@@tennistactics These are ITN numbers. With every loss your numbers increase.
@@tennistactics I just looked it up. ITN stands for International Tennis Number. 1 means you are ATP/WTA ranked or could be and make an income with prize money. 10 means you have just started. Concerning my technique I am rather a 3 or 4 player but tactic-wise I was playing poorly. Until now. Waiting desparately for more videos.
@@robertdonner5038 Ok, yep - I'm following! Dude, that's freaking awesome! Great win! 👊🏻
Very good content I have just subscribed after seeing this video. However, unless I've missed something, I do not think that you have covered the serve to the body.
You’re right! Not in that video, but I’ll certainly come back to body serve tactics!
Another great video!
Last week I saw Hubert Hurkacz executing this tactic to win his first clay tournament.
Can you teach us what makes Sinner so dangerous now?
Can you show us how other players overcame both Federer and Djokovic tactics presented by your videos?
YES! I have counters for these that I should totally make videos on! I'll put it on the list! I have a Sinner analysis planned as well! I've had a few requests for that!
@@tennistactics you got a new sub!
Very nice video man. Love the content and is easy to understand with the summary and drawing
Thanks for the feedback! Working hard to make these pretty world class!! 👊🏻
Another really good video, hope you can get the awareness out and the view counts you deserve. In the mean time I’ll take advantage before my competitors watch and learn 😅
Thank you, my friend!! I'll keep bringing my good stuff!
Do you have a Patreon? How can I pay you for this?? I feel dirty getting this much value for free
It's a good thing you subscribed, because I have a TON of stuff in the pipeline! Stay tuned! 👀
Nice content - just subscribed after watching my first one with you!
Hey! Thanks! I really appreciate that compliment and I'll keep the good stuff coming! 👊🏻
good stuff sir
Thanks! Appreciate the feedback! I've got some more coming! 👊🏻
Great video! In the doubles on the ad side, do you serve to the backhand or to the forehand?
Hey, thank you! Personally, I will use both targets depending on the kind of play I'm running. I'll have to do a video on my thought process here, it would be a fun one! because I love doubles tactics!
Hey Josh, Subscriber from a Tennis newbie. What are the best beginner lesson videos I should be studying?
For technique, check out the Great Base by Steve Smith! For strategy and tactics - Keep an eye on the channel! 👀
I like you. Not in a weird way!
😂 Back at ya! haha
Nice breakdown. So be able to serve to the spot is a must to utilize strategy? Or it’s not a must?
Well, that's ideal, but if you miss your target you can still run the right play if you recognize it in time. Like, if I mean to serve T, but accidentally hit wide instead, I could see that and adjust where I aim to hit the next ball.
Its more ideal to be able to control your serve location, but if you see variety there, then recognition is the next most important thing. Like, just recognize where it actually landed and then play it right from there.
@@tennistactics thanks. Your video is very helpful
Subscriber 2 seconds in!!
That's why I worked so hard on that intro card. 😂
What program do you use to show and draw the geometry of the court?
Big Adobe guy! and hours and hours of RUclips videos about editing haha
Genius, how could one come with these tactics, so complex 😀
It comes from A LOT of time in the game and NEEDING to win. Interestingly, I've found that they are mostly passed on verbally as senior college coaches mentor younger coaches or players. If you find a good coach, you get to learn them one on one. If not, they're hard to find. For a long time this stuff has been reserved for the top of the game, but I'm about to change that! 💪🏻
@@tennistactics I was joking, sorry 😔
All good! Just started watching your channel. I think however you should make the music much quieter or even take it out altogether
Hey! Thanks! I actually have gotten that feedback from a few people and have adjusted the music volume down in the more recent videos! I would appreciate if you took a look at either the Djokovic or collins videos I posted more recently and tell me if you think that's low enough volume!
I think it does feel a lot better after I made it quieter, but I'd love to hear your feedback on this! 🙏🏻
@@tennistactics Keep the music, it helps keep things moving. Everyone has an opinion, but you did it for a reason, and I'd go with it! A volume adjustment is all that's necessary. Keep up the amazing work!
@@the1tfactor That's what I ended up going with, I turned the volume down a bit in my more recent videos and I think I found the sweet spot! 🤞🏻
