    Genius, how could one come with these tactics, so complex 😀

    • @tennistactics
      @tennistactics  9 месяцев назад +1

      It comes from A LOT of time in the game and NEEDING to win. Interestingly, I've found that they are mostly passed on verbally as senior college coaches mentor younger coaches or players. If you find a good coach, you get to learn them one on one. If not, they're hard to find. For a long time this stuff has been reserved for the top of the game, but I'm about to change that! 💪🏻

    Nice breakdown. So be able to serve to the spot is a must to utilize strategy? Or it’s not a must?

    • @tennistactics
      @tennistactics  9 месяцев назад +3

      Well, that's ideal, but if you miss your target you can still run the right play if you recognize it in time. Like, if I mean to serve T, but accidentally hit wide instead, I could see that and adjust where I aim to hit the next ball.
      Its more ideal to be able to control your serve location, but if you see variety there, then recognition is the next most important thing. Like, just recognize where it actually landed and then play it right from there.

    Loving your tactic videos, but let's be honest here most people would improve much more if they had Roger's technique rather than his tactics even though tactics are an essential part of everyone's game.

    • @tennistactics
      @tennistactics  2 месяца назад

      Yo! Thanks you so much, my friend! Honestly, yeah, I think you're right. Huge technique fan over here. I mean, if someone hits like Federer in their men's league, even if they hit completely random locations or only one location, they will crush... But it becomes more of a factor when you are playing someone with comparable technique. Right? Like If you played a UTR 1, tactics aren't really a factor, because you could hit anywhere you want and you will win. You could even purposely win points in tactically "wrong" ways just for fun... But say you play someone the same level as you... Well, now, without the clear skill advantage, tactics start to get interesting... 🤔
