The older he gets, the creepier Adrian Belew looks, and I'm sure he's way past caring about tedious matters as such. I see him sitting there, lost in his fantastic world of sounds, he could be a plumber for all I know. But when he gets on stage and plugs in, he becomes one the most fascinating human bulb of energy and endless imagination you can ever lay your eyes on. To me, Adrian Belew is off categorisations. He's one of a kind. A true master as well as some weird beautiful wizard of the axe.

Adrian Belew is a legend--blows everyone out of the water with his energy. I wish he talked more here.

Sting and Stewart always had to rise to Andy's level of guitar playing. He could play it all, play it in the precise time, and lay down the guitar tracks in one single recording the first time in studio.

True to a degree, however, Sting actually had come up with several guitar parts himself, including 'Message In A Bottle'. ruclips.net/video/ci-yIVsDIdk/видео.html

Can't label good music like King Crimson... unless they come up with a "most innovative" category.

I have listened to the Fripp/Summers "I Advance Masked" album (listened to it much the last two weeks since burning it to CD) as well as Mr. Summers' work with The Police and to dismiss his playing as "Over-rated Pop has-been" is such a disservice to him.
In the realm of Pop music (The Police), his playing is unparalleled, imaginative and he set a new path in sound that many followed.
His playing is a bit more sparse in general compared to Mr. Belew and that may be as much personality/temperment, Summers has I believe a more learned type of playing (he went to school/took lessons) and his road time/touring experience is equal to Mr. Belew's.
