@@Eclectachrome the timing couldn’t have been better. A non-film friend is wanting to experiment with 8mm and have been reaching out (he’s overseas, I’m the states). Anywho, I sent him the link to watch I AM A DARK ROOM. Thanks for sharing, and HAPPY NEW YEAR
Thank you for always bringing the fresh news to us! I'll definitely have to check out that Darkroom Documentary, seems super thought provoking. Especially because one of my goals is to start self developing next year. Happy New Year friend!✨
Brave lady, no digital cameras!!! (Will she survive?) I'm keeping both digital and film: Olympus E-M1 (digital) for colour photography, Bronica GS-1 (medium format) for "serious B&W" film photography (and fitness because that monster is heavy to backpack around) and Olympus OM1n (35mm film) for fun and experimentation (which doesn't entirely make sense, if I was going to experiment and dive into the realm of a higher failure rate, wouldn't digital be better?). I hadn't noticed any of these news videos before, I'll have to keep my eye open for them. Cheers from Sudbury, Canada.
haha we'll see how I manage, I might start exploring older digital cameras, really love some of the older micro four thirds, such as Olympus ones and I am a Lumix fan as well. I love Fujifilm, that's always my number one but the ones I like are rather expensive (x100 and xpro series). Your camera shelf sounds pretty cool, but depending on how you shoot, yeah why not use 35mm to experiment with the OM1n?? it's fun! depends on your budget too tho, yeah digital might make more financial sense lol
I recently scored a Pix Panorama camera with a transparent front -- in the original box -- seems like the typical Pix Panorama internals, but I should test it out....
Hey! Great video. I just got the photodom i217 35mm motorized compact camera as a gift! I lost the instructions and am not sure how to set it up. Can you post the instructions? Thanks!
nice! I can send you a shot of the set up - do you have an instagram? Oh or maybe I could post a how to video (on how to load/set up) if that would be helpful?
Molly Kate have a great New Year's Eve! Remember the challenge!!! Thank you for posting the news -- I watch Nico's news videos also, and I enjoy those, but you definitely have the edge on Nico when it comes to humor and enthusiasm!!!! 😁
Congratulations on your filmographic conversion and welcome, almost, to a 2024 free of worry about electronic obsolescence. And yes, speaking of fruit, let's speak frankly: it IS pronounced toe-MAH-toe. Happy new year to you.

Happy new year to you too!! Yeah can't wait to see what its like :)

I can't comment on the analogue stuff as I'm clueless and you're WAY too clever on all the topics!!! But that's a lovely looking fire 😀 hehe
Thank you! Lol it’s nice and warm and you never have to feed it or run out of wood 😅
Love it 😊
