This was really helpful for me, I’ve massively increased my DPS off implementing as much of this as I could, and somewhat kicking myself for not doing all this sooner, and wasting starchrom on the wrong type of armour set earlier in the first season, but hey it might have use later as things change and maybe a shrapnel build won’t always be S tier. For now, it’s incredible and I’m loving the Socr. Thank you!
Since I am a bit annoyed often in the debate between the Beret and the Gas-Tight I tried both on Shadow Hound on Pro Mode with the exact same mods, the same buff food (crumbley bread) and the same start. I tried a different Mod aswell since the unlimited Ammo build was long time the go to, so I used Shrapnel Souvenir in this Test aswell. Also notable I did all runs fawless so no extra time wasted for healing. I start all runs with Fortress Warfare so I swing my Axe, call my Shadow Wolf, swaped in the mean time to my AWS.338 shot once and swaped straight to Last Valor and dealt all damage by then only with Last Valor till the Shadow Hound is dead. Also before I swong my Axe for Fortress Warfare I started the time, also with an help of an friend our time difference via screenshare was below 1 second, so I assume my time has been stopped good. Oh and the time has been stopped when the HP bar disappears. so my runs where: Gas-Tight with Shatter Them All: 2:40,85 Beret with Shatter Them All: 2:46,77 Gas-Tight with Shrapnel Souvenir: 2:48,00 Beret with Shrapnel Souvenir: 2:46,50 So my conclusion is Gas-Tight is better notable is that the unlimited Ammo (Shrapnel Souvenir Mod) build is slightly better with the Beret, probably it triggers the weakpoint a few times more often to reload a bullet or it was just lucky on crits since the time is only a bit over 1 Second different. But I dont see a reason to do more runs, since Gas-Tight performed clearly better with a roughly 3.5% faster time. So what changed basically nothing I only swaped next to Beret and Gas-Tight also the two Mods Fatful Strike and Momentum Up, exact same rotation for damage. The two Mods I sawped are basically idetical on there rolls the only difference is 3% Crit DMG, both rolled with Weapon DMg on 4,8%, DMG against Great Ones with 3,6% and Crit DMG 15% for Fatful, 12% for Momentum. Since 3% Crit DMG cannot make a difference of nearly 14 Seconds its a clear winner that the overall more Crits win the competition, also damn 12k Crits juicy. the runs: Gas-Tight with Shatter Them All + Fatful Strike: 2:26,57 (and even had to heal the run without heal was a Second faster, so I use the non flawless run to disrespect the rest) Beret with Shatter Them All + Fatful Strike: 2:41,88 Gas-Tight with Shrapnel Souvenir + Momentum Up: 2:37,96 Beret with Shrapnel Souvenir + Momentum Up: 2:43,16 so final conclusion to max out the build even further beyond I suggest Gas-Tight and Fatful Strike Note 1: I dont use the dummy most damage doesnt even get counted on it and this DPS number is anyway trash since it doesnt provide a "real world" experience Note 2: Shrapnel crushed my Unstable Bomber build and it has even better Mods Note 3: if important I used Shadow Wolf Lv.3 with ability Lv.3 no other Bonus, so a perfect Shadow Wolf could make a difference Note 4: I am missing the perfect calibration for my Last Valor it has only 1x Crit Chance and 1x Elemental but I assume 3-4% crit chance doesnt makes a huge difference what could be nice to roll is maybe additional Crit Dmg Note 5: I used basic Tungsten Ammo

I chuckled that you said you put this build together to correct all the bad builds out there, then proceeded to show the same exact shrapnel build everyone else on youtube has been using since season 1 😂. But it's all good. If there are people out there who still don't know about this build and it helps someone then that's all that matters.
The amount of people I still see saying Fateful strike for helmet mod, and the weapon mod that refills your ammo when you hit a weak spot would shock you. A lot of people like to ramble for 22 minutes too. People generally tell me they prefer my 4 minute videos haha.
I have all these (SOCR 1 star +10 calibration) and the exact same setup. But I'm stuck at 15000 dps. And my weakspot damage is 1000-2000. It's in default style and the damage shown in stats is 407. Any recommendations?
Quick question about cradle perks... I can't see Advantage Barrier, Deadly Combo, Lone Walker, Side by Side or Anti-Void in my list of perks on the left side... Are these unlocked by something or are they changed/removed?
@@MattGoesBuck Oh, so some perks are specific to difficulty? That's good to know for next season... Yeah, this is my first season playing so I went with Novice.
I managed to get all the mods you listed for every armor piece, but only one is "Violent". Am i stuck with the non-Violent mods until i loot them? Or is there a way i can make each mod Violent? I don't understand the mechanic on how to make a mod into the Violent status.
If you go into the mods tab then the mod conversion screen you can make violent mods, but it’s rng on what their sub stats can be, and you have to have the materials and it gets expensive.
Is it still viable to use shrapnel during season 1 manibus novice server? I know the prebuff (bow, axe) has been nerf but did the devs really removed it's shrapnel cradle buff, or that removal only applies into the hard server?
I’m not sure what they have in current manibus servers. I’ve already done manibus novice, manibus hard, and now I’m on Prismverse clash. It’s still a great build though.
New to the game. Can I please ask how you got all the Lone Wolf set pieces? If I look at them in Blueprints, it says they're all from the Wish Machine. Did you just extremely lucky?
Souvenir harmonies with the Deadshot mod. Deadshot Effekt ends when you reload. And with Souvenir you do dmg while others take a reload break. I think overall is Souvenir doing more damage per second.
Why targeted strike on mask? I feel like not being able to mark the bigger bosses just makes me want to use explosive shrapnel to get more damage in all situations instead of just mobs that can be marked? Also I feel like crit boost on gloves is better than crit amp?
The only other option for mask is explosive shrapnel and that mod is garbage haha. If you use wildfire it’s easy to mark. And 10% crit rate / 15% crit dmg is better than just 15% crit rate.
@@MattGoesBuck so can you mark every great one? They don’t get highlighted so I always assumed they just can’t be marked but I’ve never got a solid answer on that.
Because gold chest mods only offer survival perks like resistance or HP regen. Only blue chest mods offer damage perks. You have to get it from low level areas.
When considering PvP clans in China, the home turf of this game, it's important to keep in mind that some top-tier players focus on using Shrapnel as their main weapon. Generally, the English-speaking player base tends to lag behind China in this regard. Since Shrapnel has a weapon attribute that is highly effective against Rosetta, its damage output is lower than expected against dummy targets. However, when tested in PvP within Eternal Land, Shrapnel's PvP DPS turns out to be quite high.
I tested this affix on the dummy and the number went higher went with violent affix. If I remember right it will Stack to 20% crit damage instead of just 15% from the violent
I’m not big on them. They require a ramp up and don’t offer that much more percentage wise. You’d need a perfect version and even then it’s better to just start off with 15% for free than ramp up your percentages by dealing damage.
everyone keep on recommending targeted strike for mask but that only work if u have a bull eye weapon. not everyone have that and no one give an alternative mod for mask. so this is actually a last valor build with another starchrom weapon. idk why people dont put that in the title. so if u only have last valor but not bingo or wildfire, u will never do this type of damage. and crossbow require a bit of skill to use and majority dont do that and will not resulted in the same dps.

Whats your crit rate and crit damage.
woudl the fireman helmet not be the better choice given that it does the same thing but includes a 150% damage increase?
It’s like 2k more total damage in dps tests. It’s also a lot easier to enhance beret than the gold helmet.
Any advice on how to farm the blue chest mod?
Low level strongholds weapon chests in areas you’d do in phase 1 / phase 2.
what is the optimal crit rate % and crit dmg % with no lone wolf or other stacks
Pre any stacks Im sitting at 35% crit rate and 132% crit damage
