BUILDING THE ULTIMATE BMW M2 RACE CAR IN USA!

- Follow our 5 week journey as we (German Auto Werks) were tasked with building the ultimate BMW M2 track car! We flew over from London, UK to Arizona, USA to carry out some serious work on this car!
In this episode we will be covering the starting point of our build, as well as stripping out/ removing the interior, glazing and roof, to get ready for the roll cage, carbon roof install and wiring loom removal to enable us to cut out all unnecessary control units.

This car is actually in Arizona, USA! We have quite a few restrictions in the UK as well😂

What's the model of the wing
I don't know. It's a little too boy-racer for me. I mean that wing appears tacked on but if it's just for the track then it makes sense.
I think you're misusing the term race car. Race cars are for racing in race series, this is a track car. But very nice build.

Why not just save yourself the headache and buy an M2 CS Racing Clubsport directly from BMW. It's probably cheaper too

Nice racecar but hate that rear wing. Its the ugliest wing I have ever seen. Everything else is perfect. Hope someone steals that wing off the M2.
😂😂 the wing was a customer decision before we started working on this build; And the customer is always right Rob! 😂 Glad you’re enjoying the rest of the build though!
@@german_autowerks ....i real love the build series and the attention to detail. Honestly, if the customer suggested that wing, you should have been honest to him by telling him your opinion of it that it really looks ridiculous and suggested a more tasteful rear spoiler that is more functional. Hope the wing flies off at the track🤞.
