Super interesting vid. Just to clarify, you're running 100% OEM cooling system? No aftermarket rads or oil coolers? The M4 sounds great in the vid. Where was the mic placed? How do you get so much intake noise, or is is just from the interior being stripped out? Is the exhaust just M-performance V2? Love the rasp, sounds like a boosted E46 M3.
Thanks for watching! The oil cooling system is OEM, it does have a CSF main coolant radiator however this was added to the car before we built it and an oem one would have been fine! The mic was just on the GoPro but the stripped out interior beings all the noises alive!! It’s a M performance exhaust system 👌🏼 Stay posted for our next build, it’s a E36 STW style build 😍
We did run an additional cooler for the DCT as after a hour we would get sluggish gear changes due to oil temps. Once we fitted the external additional cooler it was perfect!

Great vid!!! Thanks for sharing the results about the CSF charge cooler, really useful for us amateurs to know 👍👍 1.47 at Oulton is crazy with 1500kg, 440bhp and Direzza. Amazing results 👌👌

I would have chosen an anthracite colour for the floor in a satin finish. And the cage in body colour. Because this looks too shiny and wet. too boutique as to racing.

Dont know how i have never seen this channel before, but wow. That car is literally my dream build. Im keeping an eye on m2c prices with a view to getting another in the new year for a track build. Expect this is probably 30k+ of work to have same spec though. Love to know ballpark what you could build one of these for in the UK.

Great video and it does a good job to show just how much time, money and effort goes into club level Motorsport! The car looks well too. Have you stripped the wiring harness down at all? In my experience, electrical cut off switches and complicated OEM electronics don’t mix! Good luck for Oulton!
Hi! Thanks for the comment! We have some a full wiring loom strip, cutting out over 10kgs of unwanted loom, we also have integrated a battery isolator that works well on the oem management. Stay tuned for our oulton park vid (filmed yesterday) where we go into more depth with the car specs and get a well deserved result at the end 👌🏼💪🏼 -Jay

Your M4 sits very high's it because wider track?
I've seen now that you are using the m4 gt4 wheels , the gt4 arms/wishbones are 24 mm shorter at the front, I am also using it on my M2

@@german_autowerksthanks!! Got it. Why wasn’t the stock battery changed out to a lithium? That should reduce 20lbs or more hitting your target goal. Maybe you want more weight in the rear for traction purposes.

Yes, we have designed a ‘lightweight’ pack that will bring the car down to 1380kgs. It will include carbon doors/bonnet/boot and a light weight battery. The customer plans on racing the car eventually which is when the kit will be implemented :)

Idea is to drop weight, but I would have opted for a +15% increase in fuel tank capacity.
Even keeping the engine untouched, I'm surprised the crank hub wasn't upgraded. ..... or did you? 🤔
