    Sit ups are a six-pack staple for a good reason, but keeping your lower body stable can be a challenge especialy when you're not at the gym with the popular equipment.
    These simple and inexpencive foot straps take care of this challenge. They are portable, easy to set up and adjust and store away as well.

    great idea, and thanks for sharing, but I use an old bike inner tube. I just tie a Knott in it so it's big enough for both feet. and the knot also stops it from sliding out from under the door. iv seen bike innertubes, in the dollar store.

      Love that creativity! Bike tubes are also the perfect balance between stretch and firmess to be comfortable against the body too.

    kids this can put more pull on leg tensors than abs if the legs straighten out.. keep that 90degree knee

      Only if you don't have the abdominal strength to still lift your pelvis p into a posterior tilt. Many people find that's easier with the legs more bent as you said. But if you can crank up the pelvic tilt there shouldn't be any difference.

    ........ you think you could come up with some makeshift DIY device to use for Nordic Hamstring Curls?

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  6 лет назад +1

      I wonder if there might work for that too, just use the straps around your ankles to hold your feet down while your knees are on a pad. You may need a slightly longer strap to do that.

    isn't this working the hip flexors more than the abs. i keep reading NOT to work hip flexors

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  7 лет назад +1

      Definitely work your hip flexors as much as possible. They work with your abs as part of your flexion / anterior chain. Your abs pick up your hips but don't lift your legs so you'll need your hip flexors to work along with your abs.
