That is a really good sounding V6. It also doesn't sound like Audi opted for any artificial or enhanced engine noise. It may be relatively quiet and subdued for a sports car, but you at least get a natural exhaust and induction note from this V6, modern emissions kind of limit what automakers can do with engine and exhaust note, but props to Audi for making a good sounding engine without adding any fake noise.

Something I love about Audi's, that most journalists complain about, is the light steering. I love when I'm just trying to drive in comfort and I just want light steering. They always get slack for their lack of steering feel, but I like it. And there's just enough when in sport modes. Also, I don't mind the way you corner with audis. Slow way down before the corner, and then basically flat out as you hit the apex so the car rotates around the corner perfectly with complete confidence. Also, shoutout Livonia, I'm going to be out there tomorrow to do a job lol

I am looking for an "executive" daily driver and the consistent negative I hear about the RS3 is the lags in shifting.

The big reason for the move away from flat bottoms based on what I remember is that Audi doesn't offer the heated steering wheel option with flat bottom wheels - although this may have changed since I last checked.
IMO, flat bottom wheels are overrated. I personally have pretty big legs and I think if I didn't have the flat bottom on my RS3 it would probably be problematic getting in and out but in my S5, the flat bottom was completely unnecessary. The manual seats in the RS3 don't get as low as the electronic-operated seats in the S5/RS5 so the flat bottom is hardly necessary in these cars.
I do agree about the size though. I always appreciate a nice small diameter wheel and this does look comically large in this car haha.

@@MatorThorsson For how old the B9 gen is, it’s actually pretty pretty impressive:
RS5 is faster than f80 m3/4 (comp and non comp), W205 C63 (and S). Which is impressive already being that the B9 never got a higher horsepower trim. B9 is also faster than a non comp G80 M3/4 which isn’t even the equivalent generation to B9. G80 comp is indeed faster tho (and it should be faster, being newer and having more power).
Interior is way better on the B9 than F80 and easily on the same level W205 and G80. If you think those look better then that’s fine. They all look good tbh.
I do agree that the RS5 comp is expensive for just being a handling package. If it had extra power like the BMW comps then it’d be understandable but then they probably would’ve given it the “Performance” label instead.

@@SpartanXDA Dude... The M4 is 4 years older then the RS5 B9. The M4 F82 is slower 0-60 but only cause it has no 4WD! In a rolling race the M4 F82 is way faster then the RS5 B9. The same with the C63.
By the way... The New M4 G82 is only 3 years younger then the RS5 B9. If we would be fair we should compare the M4 G82 with the RS5 B9 but it make no sense cause the new M4 is so much faster cause of 4WD that the Audifanboys would cry much more.

I've owned 1 A5 and 2 S5s and have been disappointed with this product line, build quality has gone downhill and performance has been stagnant since they got rid of the V8 motor

$99K for this thing is insane. And it's nowhere near as beautiful as the original S5/B8. I'd rather have a Stinger for half the cost which also comes with a TT V6 and mod the heck out of it. And guaranteed it'll be more reliable than this Audi.

hm even though i think this looks better than the m4, i just dont think this car is on M4 Comp Xdrive's level. Audi no longer has an AWD advantage on the RS models

Blank buttons, interior looks too similar to an A5. Hard to justify at 100k. Can get a slightly used RS7 for the same price.

You've never spent a lot of time with an Audi and emerged from the experience that you love that car.. You just sound like a hater, how's that possible, what did you not like about the RS3, S4, S6.. that's all I found on your channel, I guess that's all you've driven. Anyway since you like the rs5, you'd probably like the rs6 and rs7 too i'd imagine. I just don't see how someone couldn't love the RS3
