Hi Stocky Bloke, please try fresh (they do a frozen version) slow cooked beef madras "bom Bahia" curry from Asda. I'm a massive curry connoisseur, and have tried curries from all over Stockport, Manchester and Tameside. For a fresh supermarket curry these are easily the best I've tried by a country mile. The packaging looks classy, and actually feels like you're getting a takeaway curry, not a hint of vinegar which you can usually taste, which is probably a preservative. Honestly Stocky it was a WOW.....

That was a nightmare breakfast for yous and service was appalling. When you mentioned the sticky floor it reminded me of a dive nite club I used to go with my mates in Longsight many years ago.

Greg, I know you say you’re there to review and not complain but really, they need to learn by their mistakes. You should have pointed out the fact that you were a sausage and back pudding missing. Keep the plate in front of you and ask the waitress to bring the missing items to you. They may well be doing that all the time and getting away with overpricing. and as for that egg, well 🤮 It’s all well and good emailing after the event but that doesn’t fill you up ! Not good 😌 Was it cold in there as you’re all wrapped up like an Eskimo !😂

Sorry Stocky but `sticky tables and sticky floors` tell me that the hygiene in that place is rank! That alone would put me off. Undercooked food is simply not something that should happen no matter how busy a place is. You two were very easy going in my book and i`m afraid it is not a place i will be going to.

Didn’t look good at all Greg! I would have walked away when ordering, the guy serving needs a lesson in customer service, he was rude and you could see he didn’t want to be there.
Always great to see Manc Man and yourself Greg out for a feed, unfortunately this wasn't so good for you both. I didn't like the ambience of the place, it doesn't know whether it wants to be a cafe, restaurant, a bar or a pub, it didn't fulfil any of those and the decor was awful, it reminded me of some non descript airport lounge. And the delay in serving your two meals was unacceptable along with your under cooked eggs, woefully understaffed for the level of business they should have anticipated, piss poor management mate. 4/10 for me.
Should have sent it back…I forgot this place existed. Not a fan. The owner does seem to have a lot of contacts in the local music scene so it does well in evenings.
One of the bad ones, looked awful. Id be fuming if I paid £26 for that, id be wanting my money back there and then. They could do so much better. Great review again Greg. Have a good week ahead and stay safe mate 👍

Always great to see Manc Man and yourself Greg out for a feed, unfortunately this wasn't so good for you both. I didn't like the ambience of the place, it doesn't know whether it wants to be a cafe, restaurant, a bar or a pub, it didn't fulfil any of those and the decor was awful, it reminded me of some non descript airport lounge. And the delay in serving your two meals was unacceptable along with your under cooked eggs, woefully understaffed for the level of business they should have anticipated, piss poor management mate. 4/10 for me.

The owner does seem to have a lot of contacts in the local music scene so it does well in evenings.
