Excellent review. I own a Hunter 350 and using it for a year now. after seeing this video feel proud that didn’t make a mistake by choosing Hunter ! Have done quite a few rides on mys /blr. It was very comfortable at 90-100 kph.
Great content as always! Waiting for the next one!!! My friend who wanted to buy an Interceptor, bought this because most of his rides are to office. Inspite of all my friends insisting him to check KTM Adv. We'd been on a ride to Chikmagalur last week, he thoroughly enjoyed riding on the ghats and weaving through traffic as we entered Bengaluru. He loves his motorcycle and we couldn't stop appreciating the quality levels that RE have achieved with this motorcycle.
i recently bought the meteor 350.took many test rides of the hunter and meteor before booking the meteor. the hunter is a great commuter in the city ,without a doubt. the riding and seating position was a bit uncomfortable specially during longer rides.if you are planning to buy the hunter, just swap its handlebar with the meteors. it is going to make and huge difference is the riding position and will be better for touring. also, great video👍

Thank you for the great review. I have been using this bike since January and have already covered more than 3500 kilometres. While I appreciate your feedback, I would like to mention a couple of points that were missed in your review. Firstly, I find the clutch to be quite hard or harsh, especially when riding in a city environment. This can be a bit tiring over time. Additionally, I have noticed that the shocks on the bike are quite firm, which means that speed breakers and ditches can feel uncomfortably close while riding. Despite these concerns, I must say that I love the bike overall. However, I wanted to highlight these issues for your reference. Another minor issue I have is with the handbar and the sitting position, which could be improved for better comfort. ( I have heard that changing it for Meteor Handlebar can negate the issue) Thank you once again for your review, and I hope this feedback helps provide a well-rounded perspective on the bike.
Thank you for the feedback. Yes we left out a few points, some actually missed, some did not bother us so did not mention them and some left out in the interest of time. However, your points well noted and fully accepted. Regards.
I'm happy to see this review. I got a Hunter too and I do long rides mostly. I didn't buy it for long rides. But surprisingly it handles long rides too well. I travel from Coimbatore to Bangalore (320 Kms one way) once or twice in a month. It goes like a charm. I take max 2 breaks. Cruising between 80 to 100 is a sweet spot.
I actually bought it after seeing you guys’s video i even saw your poster in jc road above Royal Enfield …. I love your videos it’s fun… it’s entertaining love you guys … really want to meet you one day
Congrats on your purchase. Will be nice meeting up. We have an insta page too that you may follow and we have a workshop at JP Nagar. Thank you. Cheers!
Sort of a well rounded machine. In my 1700kms of commute, it fits all of my requirements - Very agile and nimble, excellent tractability (can do 30-80 with ease in third gear), standing on the foot pegs on bad patches, decent brakes, can go till 110 with ease and the suspension is good enough for a slightly heavier person like me
This is the bike after the Himalayan that has caught my attention on the road. It sounds great and looks very neatly packaged! Good to know it performs just as good as it looks! I still look forward to you guys reviewing the 'Busa and many more motorcycles that have been criticised for so many reasons! In the good spirit of 2 wheel motoring! Thanks for the lovely video 😊

I am eagerly waiting to see the Hunter 450 and the Scram 450 to show up in Canada. I might have to buy both in the same colour and keep one in the garage and the other in the shop so my wife won’t notice. Maybe if she wanted to learn to ride one could “magically” appear.😊
@bigbearbangalore - This review is spot on. Even after publishing it a year ago - this is still relevant, considering how many new launches happened in past year. Since you have reviewed it as a commuter, this is great bike in those terms. This is basically breaking all barriers which Royal Enfield has set in people mind. RE means it has to be heavy (Ready heavy to drive and move around), It has to be noisy, vibrating, big wheels etc. etc. This doesn't fit in any of those terms. In my opinion you don't need those big bikes for daily use. I need something short, easy to maneuver, nimble and powerful. This bike is like pocket in rocket. Gives same low end torque but with non-intimidating way. They have got it right.
My daily commute: 30-35 KM daily Road: 2/3 KM of traffic+ 28 Km of rural good roads Previously owned: pulsar 220F , Apache RTR 160 My review - Torque and agility is amazing. I am glad i bought this motorcycle.(never wanted to buy other bulky REs)

Hi I am from Chennai, hats off on your wonderful videos. I have a small query regarding the GC of the hunter. My way to work have a quite a number of ill designed speed breakers, will the 150 mm GC be a big issue or manageable? Insights will be much appreciated.
Hi Bosky and CK, have a doubt please answer it. Why there is no Bybre badge on dapper series brake calipers?. Are they different than rebel edition?. Thank you.
Commercial understanding between Brembo and RE. Same braking system both. With BYBRE logo the cost to RE is less and without logo it's more. Corporate commerce at work.
I have a dominar for long rides. I am seriously considering the hunter as a city commuter. I love the retro variant... But I wanted to know if the metro variant handles better or is it just about the same. Also, is it worth investing on some aftermarket spoke alloy wheels😮

I'm so conflicted. I was so set on getting this, but I live in Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. I love the bike appearance so much, and the weight and the more forward controls and the price! I keep telling myself it will work out, but in my heart, I know I'm lying to myself. I don't know what they were thinking. They have a 411cc engine on the Scram that I think would've suited the Meteor so much better and gave it that extra it really needs. Or they should've designed the 350 engine better because you should be able to get much more from a 350cc. Honda Rebel 300 gets much more and it's I think a 289cc engine! It has more horse and top end. But the Rebel is ugly as hell to me, so I wouldn't even consider it, but it's a better performing bike with a smaller engine than Meteor. I wish the Meteor had 30 hp and 25 lbs of torque and topped at 85 mph. That would've made the Meteor much more appealing and reasonable. Highways are unavoidable in the US.

Where to find those 340 rupee handle bar mirror?
At a Suzuki showroom.
Great review as always sir, I own this motorcycle currently and one thing I feel you guys forgot commenting is the engine heat. I'm coming from the 150-200cc segment of motorcycles and I personally feel that the Engine heat is slight on the higher side. Would appreciate if you can comment on the same :)
Hello. Thank you. Yes we missed that and it is normal. The 350cc engine radiates a lot more heat than smaller engines and takes some getting used to. Cheers!
Should not have skipped the kick lever
Now that you mentioned it, it is covered. Thanks. 🙂
