Can you do a video on workflow (i.e. how to organize ideas in arrangement view), how to sketch an idea out quickly, how to keep music in time. Maybe make it basic (no thrills just structure sketch no sound design or mixing)
Thank you for sharing invalueable tips, sir. You are helping plenty of music students. I recently joined Beat academy and am so grateful for tons of lessons you are sharing on the Beat academy website and youtube channel. Thank you so much.

This video touched on an interesting topic: what are good or even the best stings for (old) Disco (Fly Robin Fly, Boney M, Studio54), or Motown. For hobbyists on a budget this might be hard. Decent libraries easily cost a couple of hundred dollars and these prices can't justify the amount and kind of use you'll make of them. And you (certainly I) don't need all the (big) 'cinematic' work. There's some strings in Kontakt Factory instruments, I tried the strings from Spitfires BBC-SO and some others, and consider buying Sessions Strings in the sale. Like this video shows strings require some skills (like mastering (knowing, recognizing and applying the articulations (and are they in your prospected purchase?)). There are also sample libraries that mainly contains loops, mostly around a hundred bucks. But I prefer making them myself. So I was surprised you use a very affordable library. And show how to use them. Great!
Great 😃 love the approach to the strings, im always working on that! I have a sound strings that if you play at strong velocity will do that string fall pitch bend ✌🏼 not quite sure the name at the moment.
Hey Ivan, quick question, how did you teach yourself to replicate all those sounds? I mean, I've always wanted to do that but I've never had any idea how to self-correct myself. Do you do any kind of reverse-engineering to do that? (e.g. throwing presets to find the most similar and then deconstruct it?) thank you
Honestly, its been just years and years of doing this line of production over and over again. Ive been making a living from Producing music for at least 21 years now .
Little bit confusing: when I open your project (how great is that) in Ableton it says: media files missing, SAS Drumloop. I thought msybe it came from the other Dua Lupa project like you showed, but this seems not to be the case.

always love your attention to the details!!!! those strings sound legit like real players!!!
I appreciate that!
I don't think so, it does not have the hardness, aggressiveness and not the wooden type sound
The Barbie sparkle had me hyped.

Hallo,
great tutorial though i can't find the project file on google drive.
Hi, I can't find project file on Google Drive, could you please double check?
Thanks for starting with the interesting strings tips rather than always going to the beat first.
Thanks so much 🙌🏻 wonder if you would do Heather by Conan Gray? I never succeeded in replicating the snares in the chorus 😢
Great as usual. Do you know how to do the "disco string vibe" on Logic Pro ?
Yes you can do the audio pitch bend in the same manner you are trying to automate the pitch of the region wave form
Hi, the files of this project are not in
When you layer all those snares with the kick do you take some of the lows out of them to keep it from getting muddy or not ? Cheers
Which software is this?

@@BeatAcademy wow, that's a lot of time! Any tips for us mortals that don't have that much time of experience?
@@Bazzguitthere is no shortcuts. Practice, practice, practice and you will learn.
@@viktorbysell1696 I didn't ask for shortcuts, I asked for tips :-)
@@Bazzguitsorry mate, i read youre comment wrong, my bad 😀✌️
If you have a single audio drum track (not midi), what's the best way to sidechain the kick to other compressors?
where did you find the drums for this song…on splice?
Nope just from my own Collection. But you can find similar disco type drums on Splice easily
