Man the voice acting this episode was just so damn good. Toya/Dabi screaming "ENDEAVORRRRR," Shoto begging his Dad to stand up and fight for everyones sake, and Endeavor himself acknowledging how much pain he's in before being completely broken down by Toya's reveal. Everything was so tense!
Imagine being Shoto through all this. You’ve endured years of abuse, started to move forward with your dad, and then your brother (who you thought had died a horrible death) shows up and basically outright says “I’m going to kill you just to get back at Dad.” Then your brother comes at you, your dad, and your two friends with the intent to burn you all alive. It was so emotional to see him beg his dad to protect his friends while saying that he’ll be the one to face his brother. I have so much respect for Shoto Todoroki here. Despite everything he must be going through in this moment, this 16-year-old was a true hero.

When I first read c 390, I was so nervous about how Shoto would react, particularly if he were to shrink back like Endeavor did. But the boy went above and beyond what I expected (including in future chapters that'll be adapted soon). He's the true beacon of hope for his family.
Funny thing is, Shigaraki got shot in both arms and legs in his first appearance by a hero. If he had went for a headshot, a LOT of trouble could've been avoided.

Shoto finally calling Endeavor "dad" in the middle of having an emotional breakdown hits different when its given animation and voice acting. Not much action this episode, but thats fine because it gave some of the VA's time to really shine.

Shoto and Dabi's voice actors really brought it this episode. Seeing Todoroki screaming and begging his dad to stand up, while tears were coming down his face made my heart break. It's a rare sight whenever we get to see Shoto show his emotions.
I think what set it off even though it was hinted at for years is the reactions of the characters who were blind sided. They didn't have the info the audience had so it was still just as impact full to feel the shock of Endeavor, Shoto, and the rest of the people

I just feel so bad for Shoto. My boy didn't deserve to through all of that. And he was just starting to heal too and now everything is coming back and his personal past and trauma is being shared ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. He really can't catch a break and holy shit did his voice actor really shine this episode. His crying and screaming near the end was GOD TIER voice acting!

Only for one of the biggest examples of him being selfish and destroying his own family to appear. Endeavor is trying to improve, yes. But that doesn't mean his past actions just go away. He added fuel to that poor boy's flames and then tossed him aside once he realized he wasn't the perfect child he wanted to create. And now, Touya will reduce everything to ash. Him and Skeptic pulled through with the tag team of the century.

If flame quirks are rare as dabi said, remember back in season one midoriya’s mom said his dad has a flame quirk? I wonder if we’ll ever find out who he is. But Dabi’s dance was great I was terrified at the end almost in tears as shoto cried for his dad and then relieved when best jeanist arrived. This season has been fantastic so far

No one lied to Endeavor. He saw the fires generated by Toya losing control over his Quirk and searched the peak where he trained for days trying to find his son. All they found was an incinerated piece of his jaw bone. It was completely natural for Endeavor to think that his son burned to death in that!

If flame quirks are rare as dabi said, remember back in season one midoriya’s mom said his dad has a flame quirk? I wonder if we’ll ever find out who he is. But Dabi’s dance was great I was terrified at the end almost in tears as shoto cried for his dad and then relieved when best jeanist arrived. This season has been fantastic so far
acting in this episode was SO good. i promise i had no idea about dabi at all, not even an inkling. i was so set on toya looking like the neighbor's child in todoroki's flashbacks, you couldnt tell me nothing til they showed his shrine

Dabi finally showing us his true color, even I the manga reader was shocked to know how messed up he really was

No one lied to Endeavor. He saw the fires generated by Toya losing control over his Quirk and searched the peak where he trained for days trying to find his son. All they found was an incinerated piece of his jaw bone. It was completely natural for Endeavor to think that his son burned to death in that!
Man this episode was freaking lit! Dabi put Endeavor on full blast airing out that dirty laundry.
Good job keeping Lupa from knowing about Toya! I haven't seen anyone who didn't at least suspect this was in the works, many from as early as the summer camp incident.
