I think I played Civ I on PC once or twice but I'm not sure if I beat it. I usually aim for a tech victory but I thought the yech victory equals colonizing Alpha Centurai aspect was added later. It was actually in Civ I so either I didn't win or hit another victory condition.
Sid Meier your civilization is doomed. You have a dirt trax and a fifa soccer field of dreams. No more dreaming. Those wildcat weirdos will destroy it all. Let spanless gamer take over FOREVER!
Listen, I have been basically a Civilization addict since the second game. I have ruled countless Sid Meier civilizations, and let me tell you, you do NOT want me to take over! It always ends in tears.
I can't help but think that Dirt Trax FX was developed a decade before Acclaim released it 1991. Maybe publishers have a back burner they pull games from when their sales volumes are falling.
@ I can probably list all racing games I have loved. Various Mario karts, iron man Stewart's off road, tv pro am, rock and roll racing, hard driving arcade, various gran turismos, a few forza games, and that's about the entire list lol
because your culture has no concept of the beautiful game youve no clue how important fifa 96 is and its a milestone in the history of the series and sporting games in general

I never played Civ I much. I got addicted to Civ II and every one since. I too always go for tech victory on my first playthrough.

Maybe, I mean it's like free money after enough time passes right?
@@spanlessgamerOnly if sales surpass the cost to publish. I have a feeling that cost was much lower in the 90s
@ sure. Back then a small team of three could make a game.
I enjoyed Dirt Trax. I remember getting into it as a rental and wound up buying my own copy later on.
@@owlbelieveit6811 I just couldn't get into it. Then again racing games have never been my jam.
@spanlessgamer that's fair

@@whitetroutchannel I won't deny that I am a filthy American with no appreciation of the worlds sport. I will say I hate American football though.
