Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride and the wonderfull filming, we take for granted the skill and talent it takes to film in such a way that makes us feel like we are right there along with you.
What an awesome experience indeed! Dan's enthusiasm, knowledge and jovial spirit made the excursion even more exhilarating I'm sure. Such fun for three year old's and beyond.
Wow..what an interesting trip/visit this was. First time I heard about this Waterfront Duck..Always interesting to hear the stories about the harbour and the dock yard. Brings back memories again..My father used to work in the Sturrock and the Duncan dock many years ago and in my highschool days in the late sixties I used to visit him in the docks over weekends. What a different place it was then....security police at all the entrances, steam trains going up in down in the dockyard and as far as I can remember there were only about 2 places you could eat. SAR & H was very busy then repairing ships, building cranes etc.
That looks like a conversion based on the famous GMC DUKW amphibious truck used during WW2 to transport supplies and personnel when doing beach assaults; D-Day for example. Great idea!
Loved the trip with you both. We will be going on it as well. We've just come back from Riebeeck Castle the view was outstanding thanks for letting us know about them we enjoyed ourselves. ❤❤
Have been on a Water Bus tour in Dubai aboard a similar vehicle but the experience pales into insignificance compared what you enjoyed - the beauty and heritage of Cape Town with a fine conDUCKtor as your guide.
Hi guys very impressed with the duck tour the young guy Dan was a entertaining conductor I could recognise the places I've been to on your videos we did have them in London but they have stopped because the slipway they used was sold to build more offices a real shame. Loved the story about the seals lol and about the penny ferry an amazing video never went on the duck in London but now I've been on one in Cape Town with you four guy's I hope this is a success best of luck to them. Thank for taking me along cheerio till the next one
This is awesome guys! I wish them much success any many Quacks with the venture, having ridden those refurbished WW2 Ducks in Atlanta's Stone Mountain Lake I hope to see them have it in every harbor and dam in South Africa!
Hi Sonia and Curtis, love your work and all the interesting places you take us to. Recently I travelled with you on the 'topless bus' around the Cape, and then on a ferry through the harbour. Both extremely interesting and informative outings. Thank you very much for your dedication and passion for your unique venture.
Thank you guys that was very exciting 🎉 So happy the weather was great!! Absolute stunning view of Table Mountain and loved the buildings ❤ Dankie baie😅 Take care xxx
Fantastic! I’ve been interested in amphibious ducks for many years. I went on a seahorse amphibious bus in Liverpool a few months ago (video is on my channel) so it’s great to see them in use elsewhere!
Hi Curtis, Sonia , Dusty . and Sandy. Ever since I read about the WaterDuck in the press and online, I was wondering if you would make a video about this fantastic craft. Needless to say, I'm pleasantly surprised that you have been on it and have brought us this fantastic footage. Thanks for the very enjoyable video.

Like water off a DUCK'S back.🐍
Love the concept but still probably to much for locals to exspirence a bit pricy
Cool video - I did the trip on similar vehicle in Albert Dock in Liverpool many years ago. Just wondering why this Van whines so much on the road??
I'm no expert on amphibious vehicles, so I wouldn't know how it's supposed to sound. 😁 It was a fun trip! 👍🚌
