Dude! I've been working on it for hours! My little sister's Surface Go 2 needed to be reset for her school, and she asked me for help. Then, this loop happened, and she had only a few hours before school. Luckily, I found your video and managed to fix it just one hour before her school. Thanks!

Nice work mate. Problem I've got with a Surface Go 2 that I picked up is that its stuck at the boot loop at the MS logo and doesn't even get the spinning wheel. I cannot even access the BIOS. MS of course claim "We've never seen that before" horsesh*t. I've done everything to do with power drain, Volume up/down etc.

I'll try to investigate this further at some point for you

@@Xclub40X Cheers mate. I've looked all over the place and can't for the life of me find any information. MS of course were useless when I asked them.

Ideally I'll either need a video of what is going on or the device itself, but in meantime you could try a complete power drain. If that doesn't work you may have to dismantle the device to remove the battery, leave it 24 hours then put it back in and try again

How did this fault occur in the first place?

@@Xclub40X I was given the Surface by a family member. I've rebuilt plenty of PC's and laptops over the years so I'm pretty clued up but this issue has totally stumped me. Basically power the unit on, white logo shows up, 5-6 seconds, then black screen before back to logo again. Constant boot loop like that. Cannot access UEFI, nothing. Family member wouldn't have the knowledge to do firmware updates etc.
