      The original line was "I think steel boils at about this temperature" but the misquote is scientifically more accurate.

      Yeah, it's the most accurate forecast. Their measurement of the current weather isn't great, but they are good at predicting the future.

    I lived in Cave Creek when it said 2960 degrees, and I lived in Jenks when it said 999 degrees
    I cant escape these insane temperatures I have died 400 times

    We had just completed a software upgrade. The STARS is an older legacy platform, and something in the upgrade caused one of the data fields to do this. We quickly caught it while we were still at the office and pushed out a fix. But, yes, we were laughing, too! It was only the overnight forecast that showed the 999 value. I'm amazed at all of the videos online showing this 'glitch'.

    We're they using The Weather Channel's forecast for everywhere but Tulsa because The Weather Channel's IntelliStar's had that forecast on IntelliStar's on the tonight forecast nationwide the website or app(anything but the IntelliStar 1/2 HD/XD/jr.) were not affected, I think it was an IntelliStar 1/2 HD/XD/jr. Thing only, unless they send data to local news stations and it was affected too. Because they actually did it the same night this was uploaded.
