Nah I'm a wait for part 87
“It don’t take People To Be Famous To Be Great!” Best thing I’ve heard all year!
He nailed that shit, Real Fly lingo mane
Fact!
@@lucaboosie5863 Very-True.
T00-True!
That was dope!!!!
It’s a trip to hear and see Murphy Lee after 20 years
Man i graduated with him at south tech he still the same as he used to be. 1998 to be exact and hes always been chill as anyone can be.
Good to see
I got a new respect for Murphy 💯
He's still young he was only 14 when he was with the lunatics
Under a wild ahh title tho.
idc what anyone says, Murphy is an underrated spitter! His verse on the Welcome To Atlanta Remix was the standout!
My favorite one out of them
Definitely ripped it but snoop crushed it…. I’m bout to go listen real quick lol
"I'm so St Louis, ask my tattooist" 🔥
And roc the mic remix
@@trevorariza9550 that beat was extraordinary
80’s and 90’s babies feel like he was telling all our story. How we grew up and met our friends was exactly like this😂

They cripping hard for the crips and the city word son, till I took their block get at me take it back in blood cuz

Back when friends fist fought and then its all good next day....lol 💯
It don’t take people to be famous to be great don’t let them confuse you , it don’t take money to be great 🙏🏿 real STL stand up dude !
It came out when Nelly told Charlamagne " we keep retainers for guys like you cuz!" 😂😂😂
Maaannnn🤣🤣🤣
He was so underrated to me but always my favorite out the group 💪
He was the Best
Nah he's right where he needs to be ranked
On god
Not really, he was cold as hell on features and group songs, but solo he wasn't making no noise. What the hook gone be was his only fire solo hit
@@lyfestylemuzik7931he was the best?
You could see the hurt in his face when he said that he has known Nelly since the 4th grade. When you fall out with family, shit cuts deep. Shit hurts.
Yeah, I know that feeling
Nelly a diva lol
@@fly3xzistence damn
He hurt cuz he ain't getting no more money

That Roc The Mic Remix verse is forever a classic.
Murphy Lee is so POSITIVE....God bless this person. Mad LOVE your positively, keep staying blessed G! 🙏🏽🔥👊🏽
That hurt when he said, “we have the same mom, the same missing daddy.”
It's nothing new for a lot of kids especially black kids... so it doesn't hurt me
but it didn't "hurt" when he had to go to stay at his grandparents house, no? So that doesn't tell you something?
"It's a Midwest thang, y'all - and they ain't got a clue / Why my Cutlass blue" - Murphy Lee

Middle school years is when shit starts to get real when it comes to gang culture. Those are the years you get put on.
I was just saying that....middle school change your perspective/trajectory more than high school
You aint no gansta😂
Hell yea middle and HS years is where it starts to kick off …
You aren't lying. Even up until the last day of 6th grade for me, I didn't know what gangs were about. My *FIRST* day of 7th grade, it was like walking into gangland, like WTF is this. Dudes I knew that were squares a couple months ago were full blown into "red or blue" and it was a mind trip
@@mg19calI’m from Chicago. Same shit but on a larger cultural scale because we arent separated as much as the “blue and red” states

Murphy was the best lyricist in the group, but he came out in the wrong time. You had to be a megastar to pop from 1999 to 2008. I feel like if Murphy came out a decade later he would've popped. He's sort of like Cyhi da Kid to me.
Alot of the time the lyricist in the group is never the most mainstream... But yeah Murph Durph was dope

Went to school with murph and that man has been a real one since day one. Big ups to murph!
Never forget when he dropped “what the hook gon be” my 7th grade year. Jumped on the bad boys 2 sound track “shake ya tail feather” and a solo album. I thought his career was gonna take off!

I bumped the shit outta that St. Lunatics album. It came out when I was barely learning how to drive haha
I used to drive to high school listening to St. Lunatics. Jay E knew how to do his bass right on the beats he was making for St. Lunatics.
Murphy Lee was so lit to me in the 2000s. What a time to be alive! I use to confuse him with Mr. Cheeks sometimes lol.
That high school shit is real . Peoole here in STL. Take great pride on what highschool they went too. Tells ALOT about where and how you came up.
