wow looks awesome!! trust me on this dude, a buzzcut with 1 guard or zero guard will suit you even more! it might sound strange but in most cases going shorter is even better looking. you have an awesome beard, nice skin tone, and good head shape (+glasses). this is just a perfect storm for an one two or zero guard! go for it!!!

I turned 26 recently and I've outgrown the youthful look long hair gave me. Not sure yet if I want to go full buzzcut or trim 6-8 inches off, but I know for sure I am ready to cut my hair.

I love long hair but I think you are more handsome with the buzz cut. I think it should be slightly shorter, though--a #2 guard (or even a # 1.5). Keep the beard. The combo of a short buzz (or shaved head) with a beard is awesome.
Yeah I was recently thinking that as well! I just have thin hair so I was afraid I would look completely bald with a number 2 or shorter. But I think ill give that a try, might as well! @@BugsET Actually, longer hair looks thinner. A short buzz really does not look as thin. I know it's counter-intuitive, but it is true!

Short hair suits you well, and your beard is very nice.
Your hairline is high and your hair is rather thin. If this is due to a balding process, you will have to keep your hair cut short.

I wouldnt say I have hairloss atm, but I do have a naturally thin head of hair. My strands are thin as well as the amount of hair on my head
@@BugsET Mine looks like that to, but it is a new thing for me. Developed in the past few years. Always had a thin hair naturally, but not so thin you can see your scalp. I think it is called diffuse hairloss

I use to wear them 24/7 for 2 years but I ended up never taking care of my hair and lost a lot of hair I have thick textured hair but for wearing them for so long my hair went almost paper thin straight and I had like thin pieces of hair in the front and when I wet my hair It looked like my hair was balding.My hair didn’t grow for like 6-7 months. I have been scared to get a buzz cut but mightiest well start now the longer I wait the longer it’s gonna take.

Unfortunately there are no simple ways to get it thick again. You can invest in keratin based shampoo and conditioners, that is what I am doing currently. Using different oils on the hair before bed keeps your healthy and hydrated all night. For some people thinning hair is inevitable and nothing really works to get it thick again. But then there are different ways to make your hair appear thicker. For example I got this buzzcut and my hair looks much thicker.
@@BugsET Yeah I'm currently rocking a buzz cut with a skin fade but wouldn't finasteride or Rogaine help?
@@jojomp_459 i have heard those do work but I have never used them. So I do not want to recommend anything I have never used.
@@BugsET I'm going to consult a dermatologist and see what's the best action to take. If they tell me rogaine or finasteride is suitable I'll let you know how it goes.
