Yep, unless you have cut , bent or otherwise changed the form of the Lexan , just applying a sticker is NOT an actual modification. It’s aesthetic at best. Sorry Josh , but Matt’s record stands I reckon.

I like this 1/8 scale crawler
I'm one of Elements biggest supporters, as a lot of people know, but it's definitely time to say goodbye to body posts 😂. I love the element platform but i would love to see some updated axles for the stealth x platforms. I know they have the SE axles and i guess implementing that into production would work. But i want more gear options. For 6 years now, the element axles only offer the 30/8t combo. Yes, you get overdrive in the trans, but i want them in my axles as well! Not only that, the stock element axle gears arent the best. Yes, they offer machined gears, but who wants to pay over $100 for two ring and pinion gears!?
And I just want to add that you kill it with the music selection. What's on the bench weekly is one of my favorites and this beat was nice as well! 😂

Bushido 2 would size nicely with the Mashigan. (I'm just a matchmaker, trying to create connections)
Totally agree on wanting it to be sized appropriately, but the industry screwed that up years ago. The majority of drivers would rather have mis-sized trucks, rather than deal with the confusion of having models that don't say "1/10" on the box. "I ain't buyin' no 1:11 truck. They cain't fool me!"
This is about the size of the Redcat TC8 Marksman, we need more of this scale!!

Is the platform still relevant? Yes. Element’s approach that you can continually upgrade previously made versions is fantastic. It’s the upgrade ability that keeps the platform fresh. For example, I’m going to order the interior for this version to put in my first generation of the Bushido. Same goes for the IFS2 that I ordered to add to my Trailrunner to see how much it improves its performance.
It kinda bounces like a happy little truck. The Samurai’s are real popular around where I live cause the side by sides are to expensive and everyone has just as much fun in the Samurai.
Yeah, that particular Suzuki should have a 210mm wheelbase in 1/10. I built one about 15 years ago with a Speedway Pal branded body, Losi MRC axles / gearbox and a one off Midgard chassis. This one would even look too big next to a Losi Hammer Rey. I'm thinking GI Joe 1/6 M38 Jeep build would make a good buddy for it.

There is a few out there too big for 1/10 scale, but like you mentioned they probably had to to get them to perform. I think the addition of some 80's Suzuki mud flaps would complete the look 🤣

I have 2 Element rigs, a Sendero HD and an Ecto , absolutely love both of them . The HD is a sweet trail based rig and the Ecto is very capable on the rocks etc
The Zuul class1 tires with lowering the body will look awesome !
Cool little Suzuki Sierra/Samurai
I have a Sendero and a Trailwalker in both modified and frequently used and as well as untouched shelf queen versions. I love my Element Enduros.

Element did a nice job - and def agree with you - that might be a 1/10th scale chassis, but scale wise, that's somewhere around 1/7th scale. At some point I need a Samurai like crawler.
Oh, and yes I do - it's been an excellent platform for me. Not saying it's an older chassis, but it's solid.
Great review on the Bushido. I saw one at my LHS and it was huge. Several together would make for a good time. I’m still a big fan of the element chassis and I’m looking forward to when the body posts go away.

I really like the Enduro platform. I like the shocks, the transmission that comes with the gearing choices, steering etc but I would really like to see redesigned smoother exterior and stronger axles. I still run mine all the time and enjoy them a lot. Thanks for the video!

First, 1/7 is very impressive! Up the scale! Do you remember that you once said in one of the videos: "No more Jeep!" But it's a Suzuki Samurai! Although this particular vehicle is not called that.... for some reason... it's exactly a Suzuki! Looks wonderful and massive! Continue the interesting videos!!!

So after much time and plenty of saving got my hand on my first proper RC. So its be standing as such its 2nd hand but new to me, Its Hobao DC1 1/10 Trail Crawler with not the original body on but a D90 with couple of mods, Joined with a FkyFly GT3C Transmitter and receiver. will be collecting it today and then making it my own will commence after an trail run first. thought i'd share my good news.

Element has been one of my favorite crawlers I have the SE the Ecto & Sendero HD but they need to updated the chassis & I think they would make a excellent LCG rig but they keep coming out with RTR’s with a different body or wheel size but the same old chassis it’s just time to update it and they definitely need to get into the LCG market. I haven’t purchased any new Elements since I got the SE mostly because of just a different body on an old chassis. The SE has some steps in the right direction Element just needs to offer a higher quality chassis.

You're right! Bushido should be on the same platform as the Enduro12 Sendero. There, it would be a real 1/10.
If I was going to nitpick, I would prefer the SUV version of this vs the truck. I do really like my elements though, I wonder if they will come out with an LCG competitor to Axial and Vanquish. I see that your lexan sign has been changed. Anyway have a great day.

The original proline version of sumu was spot on for scale on 1/10 eish element did same thing :( either way geels good that they do a great job on japaneae rigs
Excellent review as always. I still always find Element falls short for me to end up buying one. I’m used to my vanquish Phoenix and trx4 bronco. I appreciate they perform well but they just look a little cheap and missing bits like inner fenders, hidden body pins etc.

Great video. It's definitely a 1/8 bodyshell on the 313mm wheelbase. If it was 1/10, the wheelbase would be around 210mm.
It's actually a 300mm wheelbase!

Looks like the spare wheel cover is nearly as awkward as the real one.😁
Be careful swapping that interior in that lexan body that would count as a modification.
The size of this thing REALLY bugs me and I'm not a hard core scale guy. I mean, it's just going to look so out of place trailing/climbing with my buddies and their 1/10 scale trucks. I thought the CJ was a bit big but this thing is huge!

That would have been an great release for 2022. I really love all my element trucks, but i have a feeling that element missed out on innovation in 2024. Most of the other manufacturers moved on with super detailed rigs, clipless and with inner fenders. They had the best bang for the buck ratio the last years, but thats melting a lot at 430. There isnt much left to axials cj7 🤔

Element/Associated is going to have to step it up in my opinion. I've got the Ecto and the Sendero which are both just ok, but it's the TRX4's and the SCX103's and the Vanquish rigs that have my attention simply because they are better looking and offer more realism or scale features. I feel like if there is a spot between Toy Grade and Hobby Grade, then Element fits in that spot.
Plus a TRX4 can handle literally any amount of motor you can make fit. You could run a 4092 can on there. Give it 12s. And it takes it.
I like the look of this more than I thought I would. I don't see myself gathering too many more crawlers though, unfortunately. Can only drive one at a time.
That's a defeatist attitude. C'mon, my man, have some hope! You never know what may develop, and modern medicine may be working on ways to sprout additional arms, as we speak! And just between you and me, I am told that that Anal Musk brain implant thing is to allow us to drive our entire RC collections at once. But, for now, keep that on the down low.

it would be awesome if they made one that was closer to the proper scale... the original pro-line sumo body was close, but still a little large when next to other "1/10" scale bodies... it's a shame they only offer the lwb sumo body now
A Venom LiPo ships with fitted XT60 with a Deans, TRX and an EC3 adaptor included about time RTR ESCs came he same way! Saving you having to void your warranty just so you can fit a damn battery in your unused truck!

Easiest way to get rid of the body clips on the hood would be to use the early '90s Kyosho "front hook" system as it was seen on the Sierra RS500.
What scale is the garage in the box, 1/7 or 1/10?
Likely the same scale as their other garages, I haven’t actually tried to measure.
@@scalebuildersguild Well, if there is a door, and it's ~200mm (almost 8 squares) tall, it's 1/10 scale. If it's ~285mm (over 11 squares) it's 1/7. 😁
...I almost wonder how it looks beside an SCX 6. I mean it'd probably be hilariously wrong as the change in scales gets more and more noticeable as the scale gets larger and larger, which is why 1/18 figures look okayish beside 1/16 scale tanks, but 1/10 scale figures look silly beside 1/8 scale trucks.

I will have to side with Brian on this one, you removed it from the chassis, grazed over it with your eye balls and handled it with your paws for more than 2 seconds.
