Hi Phil, loving the channel - you didn’t mention in the big cruise you played great guitar as well as bass! It was really lovely to have you get up and play with the band and meeting you both. Hope to see you on another cruise one day and soon, and keep up the great work on your You Tube channel!! Best Wishes Russell and Lucy x
Hi both. Thanks a million - that's lovely coming from you. We really enjoyed all your sets on the cruise - great fun and so versatile - you must know a million songs! It was a blast getting up to play with you too - I don't think you can beat the feeling of playing music with other musicians. And yes, guitar is my first love for sure - the channel is a great outlet for that. I play bass, keys and a little drums too - great for the home studio. All of the recordings on the channel are me doing everything. I'm a big Knopfler fan, but I play anything and everything. I'd love to do more, so if you ever need a sideman on guitar, bass or keys, just shout - I'll do anything for a cup of tea! 😉 The "Cool Bellini" notifications I am getting always make me smile, and will always remind me of you guys - love to you two and Pierson - keep on belting out those tunes - your people love you! 🎸🎸🤘
Hey Phil good video as usual! my comment has nothing to do with it. I was just wondering, Phil has a plaster on his 3rd finger since 1 hundred years, what's the problem?
Great spot Pascal. There are 2 parts to the answer about the finger - the first is that I record videos in groups and release them separately over a number of weeks so that I can manage other projects and plan new content so it might be that a few videos are done on the same day and so I'll look the same. The second is that I have some damage to that finger due in the main to having had a few injuries to my hands in the past, due to having played a lot of basketball when I was younger. That finger joint periodically needs to be drained of joint fluid that leaks into the surrounding area (yeuch!) and so I'll often have a plaster on there following that procedure which I can do at home. I bet you wish you hadn't asked! I hope you're not eating. 😂. It doesn't hurt, but that finger does sometimes look like I have borrowed it from Keith Richards. 😉
thank you!
Muito obrigado pela dica! Valeu demais 😎🎸
