I am also having trouble. I am using the ios app, I've been able to connect it to my hotspot (you need to change the phones name to "device" and the password to "aaaabbbb"), but even though my phone says the engraver is connected the app still says not connected. Is that the same problem you are having?
Honestly Just got mine today and I think its a piece of shit so far. The software is by far the worst. But looking at another persons video had gotten one free from the company in march and HAS newer software but SOLD IT! for a better machine.
I just got mine and it is amaizing. Little bit of adjusting needed but it worked out.

How did you install it onto your pc?

can’t even engrave any pictures
use free software called Light Burn.
More like a 2 out of 10. It's junk. I'm buying something better.
