I hope I didn't come across too negative, as I don't have any regrets with the mower. It cuts like a champ with plenty of power! Regarding the speed, if I notice the mower continuing to get slower I'll probably open up the drive assembly to see if something is worn or out of alignment. At this point, the mower is still fast enough for my smallish yard where it's not too detrimental.
So with the very little I've messed with the drive system i noticed if the drive handle/cable is to tight it doesn't pull backwards. Its a safty thing to protect the drive system. I really hope i can get mine to speed up a little. Way to slow for my needs.
Wow, for whatever reason, my speed setting one is twice as fast as your speed setting 6. My setting 6 is too fast to use. It requires a brisk jog. I might sit on top and enter some drag races.
I’m jealous! I swear my mower was zooming for the first couple months. Your comment makes me want to dig into the drive components to see if I can get it boosted back up.
Have you found anything to increase the speed? I just got mine yesterday and it's slow. All the reviews I've read all said it was hard to keep up with the mower. It's awesome other than this but I have only cut my front yard because I'm like a kid in a candy store, just can't wait lol. @@HomeLifeLeisureDIY
@@nathanhoveyaquatics I haven’t tinkered with it any further. At some point I may dig into the drive assembly, but that may wait until next spring. If yours is slow out of the box, is there still option to seek replacement? Overall it does seem that the speed may be inconsistent across these mowers, but not enough to make me regret the purchase.
@@HomeLifeLeisureDIY I can't wait to ship this one back and another to show up unfortunately. I am going to adjust the cable to see if it picks up a little bit I agree it's not a male or break deal for me.
Well. After watching 2 of your videos, i guess ill send mine right back when it gets delivered
