I just bought the trimmer. At 1:35 the manual instructions at A1 shows the handle at an angle from the plate, or from the main part of the trimmer, but I can't get it to go at an angle, When I try to bend it to that angle, it won't budge. How do you get that angle? And at 4:03 you say you have to remove a screw, but the instructions A1 and A2 say put in the screw in instead. Which is it?
@@EricDIY I found in another video that if you use your feet on the plate, you can move the stick to produce the angle. I then got the trimmer to work and trim some weeds. Still, there is a lot of Picturese in the instructions that have very little English in them (or French or Spanish, which I understand better than Picturese) to explain what the pictures mean.
@@EricDIY dang. That sucks. Why would they put a button on it then? Give me the old bump to feed and I’ll be happy. Auto feed wastes so much string it’s ridiculous
I never like the auto line feed feature. It feeds line everytime you press on n off switch. Just a waste of line cutting. I dont know about this brand but that feature really suck on the Ryobi. I prefer bump it or press button line feed if possible.
Believe it or not. I bought mine thirteen years ago and it still runs like a top
The only reason I purchased one.
Thank you for the info about the edger. I appreciate it.

Nice review.. I wonder if you can replace the head with a bump and feed type?
No clue...most are autofeed

It's been so long that I would have to look at it. I'll get back to you if I find the answer

Does it actually autofeed the string without pushing the feed button? I hope not. Auto feed sucks
Yes
