I have been an owner of Worx trimmers for over ten years. Two units had failed, but the units were under warranty and replaced. The last unit I bought survived 2.6 years. Sadly, I was told Worx does not make the 40volt single battery, but that was my favorite! I bought three 40 volt batteries! The new trimmer/edger has only two 20 volt batteries. Which is horrible to only get 1.5 hours maximum cutting. Replacement 20 volt batteries are expensive!! No more free spools for life, just pay $10.39 shipping for six spools. See what happens! Any yard pro knows 40 volt single battery works best!! WORX please bring back 40 volt single worx batteries!! 20 volt x2 is not enough power! Before losing more customers! Keep the size length around 5 feet 5 inches , so the trimmer can be stores safely in a truck cab. When customers have longer trimmers , people steal them from Lowes and Home Depot. 😳

Im using a modified spool that allows me to use a tad heavier line on my worx trimmer. The factory stuff cant stand up to the Florida tripweed ,especially in the rainy season. In my home state of Michigan ,the stuff is called crabgrass and every effort is made to kill it off. But in the sunshine state, its what most lawns are planted with and its as good as it gets. Worx needs to ease up on the cost of extra batteries. It takes 4 hot lithium batteries to finish my 3/4acres. Ill NEVER NEVER pay what worx is charging for single 20v lithium batteries. NEVER EVER....not even if i were farting hundred dollar bills

@@kevingadson9315 Its rainy season here and the grass goes mutant ,growing a foot in a matter of days .If you miss mowing a week it gets ugly and its a battle to reclaim a usable lawn. The worx trimmer has some limitations at this point but no more than my gas trimmer did in terms of cutting through tripweed. The stuff is as strong as the trimmer line.Ive actually spooled a length of the stuff and its not to far off of the crap i got from worx..i gotta video tape that so you can see that im not spoofin.

Can't find any reviews regarding this problem, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. Bought one works fine BUT!! Seemingly you can't buy a replacement blade for the line trimmer, mine is almost three years old the blade has disappeared for all the guard is in great condition I had to replace it just because I could not get a replacement blade. I did get in touch with worx they sent me a link to eBay and advised me just to replace the whole guard not a train smash at £8-99 but seems a waste because as I said the guard is still practically new

Hi Daneal. Great video! I've been using the Worx brand for years now. My 36V trimmer stopped working a few weeks ago, so I ordered another that came with two 20v batteries. Unfortunately Worx no longer uses the 36v batteries so I now have two that are useless. Since Worx is using the new power share feature, I was wondering if my 20v batteries are interchangeable with a 40v instead. I've noticed the 20v don't last very long at all and although it only takes a moment to swap them out, I'd prefer to have a longer lasting battery to avoid interruptions. Thanks.

This comment kind of caught me off guard but I said "hey its the internet and everything is possible." I also understand sometimes we rush to judgement which is also ok. So it would have been nice to get the question, "Daneal I thought the 40v had two batteries?" My reply would have been "The new version does have two batteries which I'm actually finishing a review up for that model. The older model in this video used one 40v battery." That would have been a way to go. Now the fact that the battery says 40v on it in this video and the original ruclips.net/video/80ClAoBnnFI/видео.html would also say hmmmm that's a 40v with one battery. But I get it sometimes we are quick to respond but that is in fact a 40v model. Thanks for watching and the interesting comment.
