Great job, Robert. I do see a lot of happy trees. Ha ha I do agree about the lighter blue sky. Thanks for showing us how you painted your backdrop. I will have to catch me back to this video when I’m ready to paint. Happy model railroading! - Drew

Thanks for the demonstration of your technique Robert. I plan on using the same basic method for my backdrops when I get to that point. I believe that the point you made is that the result gets better the less you think about it. Art...
Ok Robert I have completed step one, sky blue on 6 panels but I primed my panels with Wall primer , my panels were not finished bare , but two coats , 8/13/24 I am starting
@@FlyingCrow I know! He starts out and you think what in the world and then in the end there's a beautiful work of art! I wish I could paint landscapes like him to use for my backdrops!

I am going to try this on my live stream. see if a all thumbs type of guy can make it look as good as you do. and just this easy.
I hope it works out or I will be a failure. ;)
Great video - question, how did you mount the boards to your walls? Thanks in advance.
I screwed them into the studs with a #8 screw and finishing washer. You can just paint over the screws and it hides them fairly well.
@@FlyingCrow Thanks bro for that.
@@FlyingCrow Robert I am thinking the same thing keep it simple
