Thank you Rabbi for speaking about the good smell vs the bad smell, the darkness vs the light, to give us comparisons and inspire us to climb higher and make us appreciative of all that has been given us. Very good too, to see your students finally getting involved and making great comments. Baruch HaShem!
Thank you, for explaining the way you do. It's a Blessing been guided to the creator by his Nation Yisrael. Shalom all the way from South America, Colombia.
How hard is to accept another rabbi when Rabbi Anava is walking in earth?? I wish I could called him my Rabbi, because that is how I feel in my heart. Thank you for another amazing shiur!
"When does light have greater power? When it comes out of the darkness." I was just watching a lesson where part of the teaching was about how we can purify the world by choosing to do right when faced with a choice, and by doing so, we take out the light from that situation and illuminate ourselves and the world around us.
A wonderful shiur that perhaps asks and answers another question: *Which* *is* *greater?* A world which is inherently good without any potential for evil. *OR* A world with the possibility for evil but which ultimately chooses good.
A NEW DIMENSION OF STRENGTH AND POWER A new greatness to Praise the Creator! Dear Rabbi I feel the need to update our Glory to the Eternal Almighty Lord of the Universe because Physics has given us a new concept of strength and power. In the Psalms of David there are statements such as in verse 3 of Psalm 93 "Above, however, the roaring of the most voluminous waters, above the breaking of the waves of the sea, is the ETERNAL, which is Mighty in the heights!" Today, I believe, we must pray: Above all the galaxies, above the terrible explosions of the Super-News, is the ETERNAL, which is Mighty on high! My cordial Shalom
I like that answer a lot; however technically G-d could have still made it that we can know good and appreciate good without needing that contrast. So can it be instead that the purpose of darkness isn’t the contrast but elevation? That G-d is giving something with no purpose a chance to exist in order to be elevated, which then makes it good? For example, by the darkness contrasting light, it allows the light to shine brighter, which then gives darkness an ability to do something good. So even if it looks like it’s bad that exists, really it’s a good thing. But the point is that even the darkness needs the light to shine in order for it to fulfill its purpose. So too, even when yetzer hara (darkness) tried to get us to do bad, the truth is the yetzer hara benefits when we do good, because then it makes our good acts seem even greater and it elevates it’s existence. Kind of long and confusing Lol but that’s how it makes sense to me
Did you record the classes that explain the 7 layers? And other things you mentioned? Would love to watch them. Tyvm for what you do post. Ik it's time consuming. Thanks to your team also. You do a Great job!
Shalom Rabbi Alon Anaba Todah rabah your Torah studies are marvelous; love your detailed description and explanations for a right understanding of our loved Torah. About a year ago I discovered my Jewish roots; my grandparents from mom & dad sides are Jewish descendants, just then I was able to understand HaShem's called to come closer to Him and start walking in His right Holy Word Baruch HASHEM Also, I would appreciate if you consider to add Spanish subtitles on the video's captioning, or create a new *"Spanish speakers chanel;"* I would like to share your videos to my family and friends in Ecuador, South America. Thanks much in advance! HASHEM TZEVAOT our beloved HEAVENLY FATHER bless you abundantly next to your loved family always and keep you all safe through the times we are experiencing 🙌🙏❤🍃🌷🍃 Shalom Aleichem Greetings from Illinois! P.S.: Rabbi Anava, could you please let me know what Torah English version is the best; also the Tanakh (known as New Testament), the Salms Book, the Prayer Book, and any other you would consider and recommend for HASHEM's Scriptures Study. Even though I have the Torah and the Prayers Book in Spanish, I prefer to have English versions due I live in USA. Gracias nuevamente Lidia León Pacheco
Lidia, there’s NO “new” testament - in the ORIGINAL Covenant that HaShem gave to Moshe‼️ The ‘new’ testament that you’re speaking of IS X’tian idolatry 🤦♀️ TaNaKh stands for: T = Torah N = Nevi’im (Prophets) K = Kettuvim (Writings)
