Ordered these this week from C&R. Searched everywhere for an install and if they would work with Cold Ones. TFL confirmed float blocks do work with Cold Ones. And here is the video I needed, lol
got my FDA approved Lowrider Kit Float Blocks installed on my GT-S today... It took me about two hours of fiddling... this video helped a bit, as I did not see a video for the same product... either way, I ride on flat neighborhood streets, and like being lower to the ground... though, we'll see if I go back to the original default GT-S configuration, as I was getting used it... I had the Land&Surf VRH on my old GT, and I did not like that I had to cut the deletes, so I opted on your system... however, I purchased some expensive Titanium axle bolts prior to purchasing your Float Blocks, and now I can not use them, as they are too long. I have no issues sacrificing the Mag Handle...
Small question (I know it's way past the release of that video), would it help significantly a vesc'd XR ? Many people are facing overheating issues with the hypercore and a powerful battery pack.
Dual purpose. First, they rotate the axle 90° which strengthens the structure while riding (this also gives you more motor cable slack for aftermarket rail installs). Second, they offer additional cooling due to the built in fins. Hope this helps! 🤙🏼⚡️🛠️
Float Blocks (GT/GT-S Compatible) solve 3 issues that are prevalent on the Onewheel™️ GT. 1) Extend short motor cable by 1/4" 2) Increase axle strength by 69% (Jeff's face after Robert showed him the math on this 🤯) 3) Improved heat dissipation through integrated cooling fins
Literally standing over my disassembled board about to tackle this when the notification that this video was posted 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Perfect timing!
@@TheFloatLife I had just reassembled my board after badgering it when I heard about the float blocks. Oh well...

Need to try out a set of these on my demo board! 🤙🏼⚡️🛠️

Missed an opportunity with Cosk-blocks®️
Just in time, mine showed up today!
OOOOOH! Mag handle. I wrecked my brain wondering where those grommets went. I don’t run a mag handle😂
Waiting for your comments on the GT-S 🤓

Since FM released the torque specs for the hub bolts on the GT, would those torque specs work for both the inner and outer bolts on float blocks?
Thanks Jeff 😍

@@fixmypevthat helped me thank you!
Can this be used on regular rails with a GTV?
Did Jeff install the rail upside down? 😅
The mag handle at the end looked upside down
But it's Jeff, so it's cool
What am I doing wrong, screws one side too long 😢
sick
Do these work alright with stock GT Rails?
Yup!
How do you uninstall tho?
Does the XR version work with maghandle
The version that works with the XR is the Cold Blocks (which are not compatible with FM’s Maghandle Mount).
refining the board after they pumped it out. . .
What is it for

Do you have to take a rail off?
Yes. The rail no longer attaches to the axle. It is bolted to the block.
Is it necessary to disassemble the rails in order to get the wheel with float blocks into the board??

How’s everyone feeling about the new announcement? Lot of guys on here with some weak boards in comparison 😂😮😮
