I think we should include the drummer when giving Steve appreciation! The drummer couldn’t be replaced by just any ol’ “stick man” because he adds so much mood and intensity - plus the guy injects so much of his personality, and obviously helps push Steve along !! 😎 ARE WE HAVING FUN YET? 😎
saw the man in a country pub in New Zealand three years ago (The Mangawhai Tavern ..legendary). Just the best concert ...and me at 65 saying one of the best I have ever seen...and by sheer chance having my 24 year old son being in town the same same day who came with me. ..and he saying that Seasick is in his top 3 ...ever! So cool for an old fart to share Steve with my son..a treasured memory forever...Steve you will never know how cool that evening was for me
Don't take this music for granted because he has actually captured the essence of swamp Blues delta blues and the traditional roots of homemade instruments that started the blues music , don't forget about the drummer which is fantastic --this dude is right on it.... Jean-Paul is appreciating and having a blast living in the moment .
