    Gonzo just confirmed. Increasing vet will not improve turning circle of plane but it will increase resilience.

      @@atkpwrgaming it does increase accuracy, and thus damage output though! Definitely take them at double vet if possible if you get at least 4 fighters in your deck.
      You will get more out of the money you pay, allowing for more ground troops. But for that you should definitely learn and know how to micro your fighters and when and where to bring or loiter them.

    When you have a commander it bumps units up by 2, when you have a leader it bumps it units by 1 (or 2 if commander close enough). I'd like to see that principle on the ground adopted in the air where either the ground force has an effect in the air (but 1.5x the distance) or leader aircraft can be got (single unit card only) - leaders / commanders lessen the damage taken

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  Год назад +1

      That would be need, but incredibly inefficient. Veterancy is so much less significant on planes, I don’t see a situation in which it would ever make much of a difference

    • @TheInfamousMrFox

      "leader aircraft"
      Wing leader / Squadron leader.
      You'd kind of need to be able to send in planes in groups then.

    Also, I think ‘agility’ lessens stress? Ask on SDL or Bootcamp someone will know.

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  2 года назад +1

      Agility does not lesson stress. Resilience will strengthen the stress bar along with veterancy. Since the upped agility comes from upped veterancy, thats where that correlation can come from.

    how far out do the recon planes see? Do I have to fly them over the enemy or can I fly them closer to my front line or even on my side of the line and still see stuff?

      You will definitely see tanks and things out in the open 1000m with a plane. But if you wanna see things in the woods you have to be directly over to have a chance and even then it’s limited

    I noticed stukha bombers always do a spin in the air before throwing their bomb. Is there a way to micro them so they wont do that ?
    Every time they do it, they waste so much time, a fighter comes and gets rid of them or they get suppressed and run away. The Il bombers are the same as the stukha.

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  Год назад +4

      They will always do that. Thats part of their usage and why they arent more widely used. They would be way too good with their bomb load out if you didnt have to work through that animation haha

    Agility, last I heard, has NOTHING to do with the turning circle of the planes. What it represents is their ability to dodge shots (so if higher it gives them better defence against other air planes (and possibly AA?)

    • @atkpwrgaming
      @atkpwrgaming  2 года назад +8

      While that might be true about the shot dodging, I am quite sure that when I am using planes with a high level of agility they turn much more quickly and sharply then lower agility planes. You can especially see it when you micro your planes. There turn radius is much sharper and they can get around to targets far easier.

    • @PhilosophyNascent
      @PhilosophyNascent 2 года назад +2

      Test it. I’m 90% sure because so many people have told me this over the years. It kind of makes sense as being a vet won’t allow you to change the physical capabilities of the plane. As a rule of thumb higher agility planes have better turning circles BUT increasing vet will not alter turning circle at all.

    • @SirFlausch
      @SirFlausch 2 года назад +2

      @@PhilosophyNascent It literally does though. More experienced ww2 pilots abused specific characteristics of their planes (like the torque of the engine to role and turn) to effectively be more maneuverable. Early Bf109 pilots sometimes managed to out turn their spitfire counterparts because they could or dared to pull higher G-loads even thought technically the lower wingloading of the spitfires should have allowed them a tighter turning radius than the bf109's.

    • @PhilosophyNascent
      @PhilosophyNascent 2 года назад

      @@SirFlausch It was confirmed (read above). The increase in ‘agility’ does not reduce the turning circle. This is literally how the game works.

    • @XpVersusVista
      @XpVersusVista 2 года назад

      @@PhilosophyNascent the comment you replied to last didn't talk about ingame. Yes, ingame it makes no difference. But man, in real life the abilities of the pilot had a massive impact on the turn radius. So saying "it would make no sense" is complete bogus.
      Tolerating G Forces needs a good physice, the correct breathing technique and also finding the correct rotation to minimize the G-force load necessary to follow your enemy. Just look up some of the stats from german fighter aces. The top 10 german pilot aces of ww2 have over 200 kills EACH, meaning those 10 men shot down over 2.500 allied planes together (the top 2 pilots shot down 301 and 352 planes respectively).
      Veterancy should have a MASSIVE impact on the performance in the game, sadly it doesn't.
