I want to join your course, I am a psychology student from Nepal, working as an addiction counselor at the moment and seeing how CBT is not that useful for anger management as it requires clients to set aside from the situation got me here. Thank you you are the best teacher that i could ask for. Your eyes reflect so much empathy.

What a powerful video. I am particularly struck by your sea analogy. I've heard it before but I like your wording. You've got another subscriber now! Thank you for putting this out there.

Hi. could you do a video series on acceptance and commitment therapy techniques please? I have long term health conditions including autism/fibromyalgia/fatigue issues... I'm struggling to accept my disabilities and how they profoundly affect me. I've read act therapy techniques are good. Thanks 😊

Another great video Mark! Could you possibly make a video on nightmares and repetitive dreams? I have no problem with falling asleep but that is what I have been struggling from for many years and I haven't come across of any videos covering these particular topics. Thank you in advance.

This is not funny for a client who is suffering and you first have to get them out there, but as I listen to him it really makes me laugh at myself! How many times have I fallen into this pit myself! Mark, thank you!

procrastination is a stress release tool. try to set yourself on a task for no more than 5 minutes(with a timer). as things stand for you now, you would do more in those 5 minutes than in a week. see it yourself. and encourage yourself always.

@@etrebelle9812 I agree, timers are a great tool. Sometimes even 2 minutes is helpful.
I plan on hanging a cuckoo clock so that every 15 minutes I am reminded to start or stop a task.

I'm curious if you are familiar with The Work of Byron Katie. I see may principles she uses in what she calls "The Work" - is it true? Can you really know that it is true? Great info.
