Music Pass, Westcliffe CO: The Whole Road, 13.5 Miles & Hike to Great Sand Dunes National Preserve

The drive to Music Pass Trailhead near Westcliffe Colorado. It enters the Great Sand Dunes National Preserve at the summit and is one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever taken. Easy 4x4 road, we did it in our stock Xterra with no issues. A Ford Escape with a badass driver did it infront of us, you can see them in the video from time to time. We also encountered a group on a guided horse trip, they were really nice and had a great border collie with them. This is a fantastic adventure.
