    I watched your video and tried to work on my car and it worked. Thank you. One point to make it better is to think about which are the rubbing surfaces which possibly make the noise. I think the part near the top of the window does not rub against each other and that part could be left out.

      Me to. It seems that if you spray some lubricant on the left and right edge of the window it helps to distribute the grease/silicone when the window roles up and down as well as spraying it into the gaps like in this video.

    How long does this last for?

    • @jakevargas2484
      @jakevargas2484 Год назад

      ~4 - 8 months. Best to just take off the door panel (15 - 30 min with a screwdriver and plastic pry tool; 30 min - 1 hour for first timers) and use some silicone grease on any roller bearings and between the coils of the spiral assist spring. Don't apply to the wheels on the tracks themselves (or you will just mask the problem and the rollers will slide, not roll, on the rails), and don't use anything that can degrade plastic parts. With just a little more work you'll fix the problem, not the symptom.
