FMS PILATUS PC-21 ASSEMBLY and RADIO SETUP with REFLEX GYRO by FGFRC

Well in this video I am doing the assembly and radio setup to include the Reflex Gyro Setup in the FMS Pilatus PC-21 sent to me from HOBBYZONE for review. The assembly , radio setup , and Reflex Gyro setup went very smoothly with no surprises. The manual for the FMS PC-21 Pilatus covers everything you need to know OTHER than what the little yellow mystery wire off the ESC is for and also does not address that you truly need a 7 channel receiver if you want all the features of the Reflex Gyro system.

Very helpful thank you. Just bought this model but there were no comprehensive instructions to connect the Reflex giro to the receiver or how to set up gear and flaps. It would probably be easier to abandon Reflex and use a Spektrum receiver with AS3X and Safe which I am familiar with but I will persevere.

Do you know what does having the throttle into the reflex then receiver does? I have just put the throttle directly to the receiver. Am I missing something important?

No either works. I choose to go directly to receiver but either is ok.

Whats with the landing gear on this model? It looks like white plastic molded over steel wire?

That's what it is, it is heavier grade metal but the plastic is to give it scale appearance.
