I am disappointed too! We purchased Chamberlain opener AND a hub to make Myq work in my Apple Watch and Home Kit! I feel duped! We will NOT purchase Chamberlain again EVER.
While I would love to have better garage door integration, I’ve decided I can live without it. The MyQ app allows scheduling of garage closing, as well as remote open/close. It’s sufficient for my purpose. If/when replacement time comes I will seek a system that can be integrated into my smart home system, and I would not recommend Chamberlain at this point to new purchasers for that reason.
This is very disappointing. I've been trying to get my garage doors on my control center, instead of having to open the app every time, and this seems to be the nail in the coffin for that. Although I noticed they still have the Amazon Key option in the app..
Wow!! I guess Chamberlain/MyQ doesn’t need customers. Why would I want to pay a prescription to open a door. Thoughtless move in my opinion. I used to love this product and just tried to troubleshoot why Apple home had been no longer working at all. Now I’m looking for a different product all together.
I'm just discovering this after buying myQ Smart Garage Control. I'll be returning that now. As a customer, this is very frustrating. This is the kind of "strategic decision making" that sends companies to their graves...ignorant, egotistical, short-sighted (this is biz school 101 stuff, geez).
I literally just came to Google to fix my MyQ on my Homekit. I obviously will never buy another myQ product again. Sounds crazy but I can not wait for this garage opener to break!!!!

I’m just discovering all of this, while thinking of getting a Tesla. And while digging through, I can only assume, they got rid of it because they realized people were using HomeKit to run automations and open the garage door without having a subscription. Money grab, as always.
So is this why the only way to use My Q with my new honda is pay for a subscription for Honda Link? Seems like a money grab from Chamberlin and or Honda
So glad I saw this before buying the MyQ. I went with the Meross 100HK instead and it fully integrates with Apple Home and CarPlay. Thanks Chris!

would be down for the meross gate opener for my new place for sure, but I need a video keypad too. Is there anything that would work with homekit?

I would have never bought Chamberlain garage system if the info on the web was updated
I wish I found out about this prior to purchase as well. I will not be purchasing any more of their products unless this is fixed.

MyQ app is slow to open when I drive up to the door. I have to launch the app and then open the door instead of using Siri.
