The James Webb Space Telescope captures Neptune’s rings

- Most striking about Webb’s new image is the crisp view of the planet’s dynamic rings - some of which haven’t been seen at all, let alone with this clarity, since the Voyager 2 flyby in 1989. In addition to several bright narrow rings, the Webb images clearly show Neptune’s fainter dust bands. Webb’s extremely stable and precise image quality also permits these very faint rings to be detected so close to Neptune.

It's cool that you can even see galaxies in the background
Those are stars from our galaxy and not other galaxies
@@ImNotYou. On the full image you can very clearly see some galaxies
These infrared images are so clear ✨
Best picture I ever saw...
It's fascinating seeing familiar objects in a different light.
Best shorts loop I've ever seen
Glad you think so!
Awesome.
This is great, but on a side note, the thumb nail says ‘Neptune’s rigns’ instead of rings.
Really cool.
Should I make a video on this topic
❤️
Ah, that's why she's so brilliant, that are the clouds in high altitude ?
Todas as imagens captadas do Universo são importantes e fantásticas ...mas pára o que Webb foi destinado, o universo primordial ainda não foi muito desvendado?!! Estamos a espera do espanto ...
I am Gravitationaly captured by my ......
Wow coungretulation 😎😀 space of humanity projec GPs,BeiDou and all
Can it see black holes
Probably not. That's the Event Horizon Telescopes job
o my god'
Depuis quand que Neptune a des anneaux???
Since...all this time?
All the giants do
Wow Neptune, what if the weirdness is that Triton is the planet, and Neptune is one moon, but the moon that is Neptune, due to its size, is the orbit around the sun holder!? Just a non scientist going wild here! Space is weird and weirder, hey! 😁
Nope. Triton would never be massive enough to capture Neptune inside it's orbit. Neptune has to be the one who was already in orbit around the sun.
"Rigns", eh?
I wonder what jw would see if it focused in on my ex-wife?🤔
