i was with nile ranger at protec (Barnet) academy in 2007-2008 season, literally did pre season and saw how talented he was, i remember sitting next to him in the training facilities at potters bar and told him how much of a baller he was and that i couldn't see him staying at barnet, few weeks later news break out at the academy that he was signed by Southampton! he was a real beast at 17.

@@Musthecrazygooner yeah I was at pro tec 2004/2005, and Pete Edward's was a horrible bully ,treated me appallingly when I just needed a arm around shoulder, I had a trial for Watford and when I didn't get in he ignored me and then started to make rude comments about me to players horrible horrible bully tbh amazing how they are allowed around children tbh

@@theosworld941 I agree with you bro, most players did need an arm round the shoulder, we expected one to one management, all we got was shit attitude and coach’s that favoured certain players because of their ethnicity.

We don't want immigrants of colour, but we are too good to do the work they do. If it's good enough for the so-called indigenous British, it's good enough for Mr Ranger.

This lad could of had it all! The dream all us lads as kids growing up who love footy would do anything for yet he threw it all away and for what!! 🤬 i really can't get my head around it how when someone knows they could make it and they throw it all away!

Everyone is quick to talk about what he didn’t succeed but let’s appreciate what he did 🙌🏽 17 years old playing for Newcastle, looking after his family, not selling drugs like his peers. Although, his career didn’t pan out he achieved what 99.9% of men dream of in their life and achieved it! Played in the premier league

Yeah but he never scored many goals as a striker. I vaguely remember him at Newcastle, he was like a poor man's Asprilla. The guy can't even hit the net in lower divisions or keep his head on straight. If you are generally a great baller, people in higher divisions will sit up and notice,.you come bottom of the pile.if you cant hold your head at Boreham Wood and fail to hit the net past the dog shit.

U know this guy !!! Threw away his dream not once not twice ,not even three times ,more actually lost count ryt ,and even got put in jail a couple tyms which would and should of shown him the end result or where he would 3nd up but still done super Dum things and could of thought felt for him !!! But wen he was asked does he take any responsibility for his actions ect just showed he didnt and still dnt give a shit rly and like he was targeted more than others or like it wasnt his fault ect ,it was all him frm always if any of his ppl frm young kr while he was on his pro contracts would have made sure he never got himself into the shit he did and again always managed to choose the type of ppl he was around wif lived and craved wanting to be the main man ,the center if anyfin good or bad he didnt care as long as he was in the spotlight is all that mattered and tbh couldnt mentor any1 or ever b allowed to vos rly think he would do more damage there are guys that rly rly wanted to be where he was, with even 1 opportunity he was given more than once also had the talent but rly didnt have no choice the family they were born into. Rly didnt learn frm any of it a d that says 2 things either mental health issues ,or my belief that he just didnt give 1 fuck let alone 2 waste MAN a d hope he wakes up every morning and regrets and feeels that wasted talent he threw away like nuffin and is the last thought every night B4 he went to sleep ,cos as much as he plays it like IT IS WOT IT IS ,TRUST ME WEN HE IS LAYING THERE WITH THE SUN UP OR DWN HE SHEDS MORE THAN A FEW TEARS OVER IT COS PISSES ME OFF AND HAS BECOME NUFFIN ANY YOUTH SHOULD LOOK UP TO OTHER THAN A CAUTIONARY TALE OR A DCART BED TIME STORY !!!
