      Bora Doğrular if u want then i can write a code for randomizing attribute value. No matter how many objs , just one click, then all randomize.

      you can create shelf . paste this code in maya script editor select all and Middle-drag , release where you want to create button .
      1.select objects u want to create random attribute
      2.run this script(dialog box will popup)
      3.give a name your atrribute
      4.check the values ,all values are randomized now between 0 and 1
      if want to change min and max value you can find min max value in script u can change there

    Hi, nice tut, can you make a tutorial about the right way to set up the backplate with the domeLight and the shadow catcher and some refractive materials, lets say you want to put a glass on a table, but the table is footage, so the glass regracts the table from to footage and you can have the shadows of the glass on the table to comp it, thanks :)

    Could someone tell me how to make color variation for some imported (animated) alembic plant's leaves or how to make color variation for combined meshes?
    The alembic import is:
    - made by houdini IVY Taming asset, and exported as an abc file with 3 separate group inside. (Leaves, stems, and liana) Everything works well in maya. The groups have the right meshes.
    - the alembic is animated, its a growth sequence: the lianas start growing, and the the leaves follow lianas, scale up from 0-100%)
    - the leaves are separate leaves combined into 1 mesh. (if i select 1 leaf it selects all)
    - the leaves has the same UV's, thats why a tried djPFXuv's script to make some variation for colors, but this script doesnt work with this animated alembic. I dont know why. If the leaves are growing, are its UV's changing? I cant figure out this.

    hi again, I was wondering which software do you use to get the trees and leaves? Forester, speedtree or Laubwerk? Thanks. Used to use Xfrogs but mainly static with no dynamic movement of trees
