I guess I could say that you've finally invited yourself into Arknights by watching that (That teaser is usually what people outside of the community watch when they want to check out the game). Technically, the 'knights' tournament' that you speak off have only been available to the Infected just now. However, most of these knights have gotten their experiences before the tournament through underground fights. I'm making it vague, just in case you want to to find it out yourself. And yes, that was Nearl.
To give more context, Nearl has been fighting the corrupt system of Kazimierz since the higher ups decided to arrange tournaments for Knights for profit. Knights in Kazimierz afterall are supposed to be dignified people to protect the weak, and now, they're just used to fight each other for profit. Because of this, Nearl was exiled for 3(?) years, which is how she ended up in Rhodes Island and how she met us. While in Rhodes, she was a healing defender and used a shield instead of her lance. In this trailer, this is AFTER her 3-year exile as she went back to Kazimierz to continue her pursuit to fight the system, and this time instead of a shield, she wields her lance once again. 3 years later, the Golden Pegasus returns~ P.S she has the title 'The Radiant Knight' who never lost any tournament she was on c: That's why the higher ups fear her presence and thus why she was exiled.
@@mahaliajohnson2959 Nearl was actually never infected. The Radiant Knight is a beloved champion and celebrity of Kazimierz and her exile would never go down well with the people so the higher ups made up the excuse that Nearl was infected and that was why she was exiled when in reality, it was because she tried to fight the corrupt system and they tried to cover it up.
@@Katcxze I looked it up and you were half right; she was not infected, however her grandfather announced to the public that she was infected in order to protect her. Circumstances of her wanting to change her country for the better from within by dominating the Major, which in turn threatened the interest of the Major's stakeholders, specifically the KGCC. Thanks you for making me look it up, i must've been tired when i was fast reading the event.
The mix of 2D and 3D in these animations are just 🤌 chef's kiss Love how its done in the Stultifera Navis animation it's very nicely incorporated there
That's indeed Nearl and that's her radiant knight version from the Near Light event, she's also a Pegasus so extra cool points for her. The entire Nearl family are Pegasus since they are a royal bloodline in Kazimierz. And the girl with red hair is named Flametail, she's a top tier vanguard operator she's also a squirrel.
@@Rownin your welcome, I definitely recommend building flametail even though she's a vanguard she can deal good damage with her skill 3, she's constantly used in endgame content. And she's getting an insanely amazing skin after the Stultifera Navis event.
@@Rownin Pretty sure she's just a horse person. The wings on ops from Kazimierz are just a reference to Polish Husaria mounted cavalry that attached wings on their armor. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is the inspiration for Kazimierz after all.
@@MechaJulia1991 No her family is actually a Pegasus. Interestingly enough, in the lore a good chunk of healers and defenders are actually really good fighters (like, Nearl for example, who is practically a living legend) but chose to heal and protect.
Then there's Shining, the world's strongest swordswoman..... And yet she heals Then there's also Saria who's literally a walking nuclear arts bomb, and she be like "Yknow what? Imma heal instead"
The normal 5 star Nearl isn't her normal form the tank/healer is what she adopted when traveling with Nightingale and shining to protect them, the radiant knight is her true self.
Legit this is what got me into Arknights. Nearl’s entrance was the Point specifically. Also her entrance was just too good and had such a strong saber influence in the style that I just had to play for myself. I also have Nearl as my main defender in my squad too.
I personally never saw this pv. Played the event tho, and boy this trailer is so lit hoping one day we can get a full anime of nearls story arc Also flametail deserves her time at the spotlight
Hi. Check some more arknights cg's maybe? Some under tides and new stultifera navis event's ones. And we have that nice CN il siracusano event cg ofc. Did you see some Texas statuses on youtube?
Oh, Arknights? Will a new Doctor join the ranks soon? I started playing it a month after launch and did so until December of the same year and I came back to it in February this year. It's probably one of the best gacha games out there imo.
@@Rownin This video was released last year in the Chinese stream of Arknights, as soon as I saw this video last year... Everyone in the Global server became nuts and hype for her! And from that time until the event where she was in the limited banner and the event started, I saved a lot of Originium for the gatcha and avoided many banner... Just to be sure that I would get her... And in the end, I got her, to be honest it was more easy than I though, in just 3 ten pulls got her, the rest of my saving I spent to try to get Rosmontis, and I also got her!
Arknights is unique, you'll need to struggle progressing, until your squad is dependable, but once you reach that certain level, you can flexibly build your squad, doesn't necessary to use META units, and still defeated stages with really high difficulties... Hell,, there are doctors who cleared stages with supporters, defenders or vanguards only...
A little bit late but in this story, Nearl (The knight with a spear) was that she told the people that she is "Infected" therefore she was banished from Kazimierz. But later on she comes back since Infected is allowed to partake in the Major and as the story progresses she will reveal that she is completely healthy and is not infected. Why she told the people she is infected is because she fights for the rights of the infected to the point that even if she needs to fight to prove a point, she will do it.
Knight tournaments are harsh to the infected, unfair. The corporations sell it in a hopeful manner, and the masses...? they eat or pretty much judge the infected in the competition, knights in kazimierz use brands and patented equipment adjacent to their matches to survive, they sell themselves. Do ads. Meanwhile, before the knight allowed infected people to quality? The people in power would secretly have them do cage matches, monster slaying, or underground death matches off the grid, that kinda illegal stuff. that's how most infected knights started apparently.
First Edit: yeah that may be the third time, but infected will always be treated like filth and used for corporate profit... Plus, that's Nearl, and she is so playable, albeit limited... If you wanna get her, 300 pulls to spark, or get lucky on pulls...
